This was a great location in beautiful St. Augustine. It was only a short walk to the beach. The host was very responsive and gave great recommendations for where to eat in the area. The backyard was very nice. There was a ton of beach equipment in the shed, too.

Lovely family-friendly beach house

Plenty of space for a family or 2 to stay, short walk to the beach, games and playground in the back, tiki hut in the front, and close to the historic St Augustine stops.

Beach weekend away

We had a great time at this property for a long weekend away at the beach ! It was a perfect quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. It had everything we needed for a great stay and the host was very responsive !

Great stay!

Enjoyed our stay, especially hanging out in the tiki hut. Short walk to beach access and an uncrowded clean beach. We were here for a concert at the St Augustine ampitheater and also visited downtown St Augustine. Both are short drives away. House has everything you need. Hope to come back someday! Thank you!

Oties retreat

Had everything we neeeded. Short walk to the beach. Great backyard to grill and have activities for everyone. Also a awesome tiki hut in the front with lots of privacy. Had a great time , and family loved it!

Girls Weekend Away

I booked this house for my wife and a few of her friends to have a weekend getaway. They said they had an amazing time and the house was perfect. It was very clean and had everything they needed. The owners met them there. They were so nice and accommodating.

Fantastic house and location close to the beach! Excellent for a family vacation. There was plenty of beach supplies, even bicycles! We enjoyed every moment of it.

We had great time! We were greeted by our friendly host as he finished up readying the house for us, and the house was clean, comfortable and perfectly located for our party of 7 (3 Moms and 4 13 year old girls). I highly recommend this rental and hope to return in the future!

This was a great stay! The reviews speak for themselves. Benk and all of his team are excellent and are so kind and thoughtful! They really are great hosts who go above and beyond, and the place is so fun! We were sad to leave.

Cute & comfortable

The house was comfortable & decorated so nice! We enjoyed our coffee on the back deck every morning. The master bedroom had a wonderful mattress & an amazing bathroom! We all had a great time and didn’t want to go home.

Home away from home

Home felt like my home or 1 of a close relative. Owner met us at the house when we got in town to show us how to use the door lock and where everything was. He was very friendly and said if we need anything just text him and he would take care of it even if we just wanted a recommendation for food or directions for somewhere. We didnt take him up on the offer because we like just exploring but it was nice that he would do that if needed!!!

Just right in every way

An old group of friends from across the country reuniting for some WSP. Perfect layout for 6 ppl. Room for more. Everything you need for the beach is there. Nice stroll to the boardwalk. Stretch of beach not crowded and parked on the beach every day (4x4). Close to bait shop and launch. Tiki hut perfect for nighttime gatherings. Back porch great for hanging out. Kitchen great for foodies. Attention to detail, clean and very accommodating hosts. Planning on making it an annual event. ("A1A Crab House" highly recommended)

Good week

This place was perfect for the 5 of us. The access to the beach was close & very nice. We didn't pack our beach chairs bc the listing stated some were there.... but we later learned they were broken/ unusable. That is my only complaint, and I shared it with the owner so I feel sure he will correct that issue.

We always welcome any input from our guests, without that we would not be able to improve our services. 2 out of 6 beach chairs were broken and replaced immediately. Just wish they would have contacted me while they were here so we could have taken care of that at that time. Sorry for the inconvenience and we hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Great location!

The location of this property is amazing! It's literally about a 7 min walk to the beach, across the street! The only downside to the property is we were asked to not use the backyard for "partying or being loud" we had 4 kids age range (12, 12, 12, 15). It needs to be notated in the property that the back yard is not accessible. The Tiki Hut in the front yard was our saving grace! We spent most of our time in the Hut! The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, from the kitchen to the bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again, just without the kids!

Great property.

Great place, we traveled with a family of 7 and the house was perfect. Crossing the A1A to get to the beach was a little difficult at times, there is no crosswalk and traffic does not stop, but once you get to the beach its amazing! A little disappointed in the ammenities, host said we could use anything in the shed, tandem bicycle had clearly not been used in a while, chain was rusty and tires didnt hold air, chairs were rusty and in poor shape. Not a big deal, but why offer it as something to use when its not usable - just get rid of the stuff altogether so people dont have that expectation. Had to request toilet paper as there was none stocked, host responed quickly and dropped some off. Overall a great experience, would stay again.

We Loved This Adorable and Comfortable House

There were 2 parents and 5 adult aged 18-26, and we all fit in this cozy house perfectly. The big, square living room, plus huge sectional and two comfy chairs leaves enough room for everyone to enjoy. The big living room one of my favorite parts. The kitchen is beautiful and supplied with everything. But enough about the beautiful house, the backyard is so peaceful and fun. I took a nap with a margarita in my hand in the hammock. Yes, it is a neighborhood, so there are houses around you, but with the privacy plants all around, you don't even notice! The main event: the beach!! What I loved about this house is there are three beaches nearby! I did not want to lug chairs and things to the beach, so we turned right out of the neighborhood and parked at a public parking lot about 1/4 a mile away. The beach has such fine sand! Further north, across from Salt Life restaurant, by the pier, the sand is much coarser. Where this house is, the A1A is only two lanes (so less traffic and road noise), the beach is flatter (much better), as opposed to steeper by the pier which has a steep beach, and it is a delight. Yes, the water was cold in January, but the five young adults were in it for hours. Back to the house. I loved that there was plenty of room at the dining table. When houses say they sleep 8, but only have a table for 4 or 6, that annoys me. Not a problem here. The beds were comfortable, and the master sweet has a huge closet with hangers. The bathrooms are so nice! Easy to find and navigate to when first arriving! Cute neighborhood. For the price, you cannot beat this wonderful house!! Great owner too! Quick communications and nice person! I could not be happier with our stay!

A great stay

We had a great time at Otis’ retreat. Benk was very good at communicating if we needed anything, the house was clean and had all the necessities. Very close to the beach! Loved our stay.

Great Experience

Nice house, great host! There was an issue with the air conditioning on Sunday evening when we returned to the house from being out all day, and it was WARM. We contacted the owner, and he had a repairman there within a couple of hours and got it fixed... Again, on a Sunday night! We were impressed! The host is an excellent communicator. There's a brand new beach access very close to the house that's a nice walk. We loved the Tiki hut and took fun family pictures in it.

Great place to stay

The property was perfect for our group of six. There were lots of amenities included. Our favorite was hanging out in the tiki hut. Excellent location; not far from St Augustine and very close to several beautiful sugar sand beaches. The owner was easy to contact and responsive. We would definitely stay again. Great experience!
