We had an incredible stay and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The property was impeccably clean, with every room spotless and clearly well cared for. The layout was perfect for our needs, especially the open-plan family room and kitchen, which became our favorite space. It was spacious enough for everyone to relax, read, play games or cook together. The view of the forest from the back garden added such a peaceful, calming feel to the whole experience.The property manager was a pleasure to deal with. Easy to reach, responsive and helpful with every question we had. We encountered zero issues during our stay, which made it all the more relaxing. Highly recommend this home and would absolutely return.

Delightful stay!

Our stay at this charming Nantucket home was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the property's immaculate condition and warmth. The kitchen was a standout feature. It was perfectly equipped with appliances, plenty of counter space and all the utensils and cookware we needed. The entire home was spotless, which we deeply appreciated. The living areas were cozy and inviting. The yard was lovely. We spent several mornings enjoying our coffee outdoors. This Nantucket home provided everything we needed for a perfect vacation. We hope to return!!!!!

Nantucket Trip August 2024

We just completed our stay in Nantucket and I must say that our entire family loved the house. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and was wonderful. Our host, Karen, was awesome. Nantucket Reunion

A group of seven gals came to Nantucket nine years ago and stayed for a week. After nine years and nine children later we decided to have a reunion this summer. We had so much fun. The house was perfect for our needs. We greatly appreciated the air conditioners in each bedroom. It was a warm week. Definitely used the beach towels, chairs and umbrellas that are also provided. The house is nice and roomy so plenty of room for everyone. We also appreciated the quiet neighborhood. Went for a couple of walks in the morning and evening on the disc golf course right behind the house. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer time. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Nantucket trip!

We had a wonderful stay in Nantucket! We stayed at a beautiful home near Surfside beach. The home had everything we needed and more! Close enough to do biking to town and beaches. The home accommodates lots of people with plenty of room to spread out. The young adult boys enjoyed the outdoor shower! We were grateful for all the supplies for the beach too. The home also provided so many options for photos to create lifetime memories for our family!! Highly recommend!

Wonderful visit!

Our second time staying here, and just as great as the last! We had a multigenerational family, including an infant and toddler, and had a wonderful time- enjoyed the porch and yard, quick bike rides to Surfside and Miacomet, easy walk to Nantucket Fish and Meat, and Nantucket in general. Nantucket getaway

Out family spends a week on Nantucket each Summer. We enjoyed staying at this woodsy home. It was close to the discovery playground, the forest and downtown. The house had lots for the kids to do and the owner was easy to communicate with. We recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice retreat. We had a wonderful week and look forward in returning.

Great mid-island location!

Conveniently located, this house is a wonderful choice as a home base and a hang out spot. From the house, it is easy to go downtown, visit several beaches, and grab food at markets/restaurants. Our teenagers enjoyed hanging out in the large living room. The adults enjoyed hanging out in the beautiful backyard. Truly a fabulous place for an amazing getaway!

Graduation party

This was a fantastic property. Beautiful, spacious house equipped with everything we needed. Backed up to lovely wooded area with fun frisbee golf course. Easy bikeride to southern beaches or to town. Easy to Lyft/Uber as well. We loved being there before the Memorial Day crowds and the weather did not disappoint- cool but sunny! So fun to be back on the island. Thank you for a great stay!

Family Vacation

Had a wonderful stay, convenient location.Wonderful backyard porch. Spent evenings relaxing on backyard porch which was so relaxing after a day at the beach. Great layout with kitchen open to family room. With nine adults and one two and a half year old, we all had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our stay on the island.

Wonderful week

The house was perfect for our family of parents + teens/ young adults. Plenty of room for us all to spread out and yet we could all gather around the table for dinner. House has fun touches and the yard is really great. The bedrooms were very comfortable, but the open kitchen/ living area did get quite warm, it was a very hot week when we stayed. The location is good, easy access to the main bike paths and the forest behind made it feel like a private retreat. Overall, would definitely recommend.

After coming to Nantucket for more than 20 years, we were delighted to find this wonderful family home. We have 5 family members and lots of relatives, so the space and location of this house are perfect for us.

We fell in love with the airy rooms and natural light, which melt work/life tension the moment you step in. With 2 family rooms, a big kitchen, a wraparound porch, and great outdoor space, the layout makes the house feel uncrowded even with lots of people.

As much as we love the island, we don't love the traffic and noise of some of the locations where we've stayed. This peaceful spot, right next to the state forest on a quiet dirt road, offers a perfect getaway. The big yard, protected by a wraparound hedge, is a safe area for kids to play.

The forest is a great place for hiking and biking, and it has an 18-hole disc golf course, which is fun for kids and adults alike. A short ride on the bike path takes you to Surfside and the other gorgeous south shore beaches. We're also an easy walk away from the Nantucket Bake Shop, an organic market, and one of the best fish markets on the island, as well as several terrific restaurants that serve mostly locals.

Even in the height of summer, this spot offers a relaxing haven. On a foggy night you can hear the harbor foghorn in the distance; without the intrusion of traffic noise, you can easily imagine life in centuries past.

You don't have to sacrifice convenience for this idyllic location. Town is less than 2 miles away, and beautiful Surfside beach is an easy, flat 1.4-mile bike ride. With bike paths, two bike rental shops, and the bus route just steps away, the whole island is accessible with or without a car.
