Arriving at condo was easy. Received the code and went straight to condo.(Email was vague as to whether I needed to go to rental office for a key to the pool. I did need one and had to drive over next day)
Once there realized that the refrigerator did not have an ice maker (the bin needed to catch ice and dispense it was missing)as stated in the description. Fridge seemed a little warm, but we figured it was because we had just loaded it down with lots of food from shopping. Next morning fridge was not cooling. Called mgt company Oak Island Accommodations. They sent someone over to look at fridge. Came within thirty minutes. Determined unit needed a new fridge. Went to get one from Lowe's. Came back with a small no frills fridge. I stayed at unit to deal with transferring our food from one fridge to another. Later in the day, got a call that Lowe's gave them the wrong fridge and they would deliver it the next day. I would need to be at condo to let them in. I again wasted half a day dealing with appliance issues in a rental. Had to wait on fridge, unload food and transfer to new fridge. Then the didn't install water one to ice maker! Rental company had to come and fix that later in the day. First two days of stay on this rental were disrupted for faulty equipment. And rental company did nothing to compensate for my inconvenience.
Facility as a whole, pool was ok. Always ahd sand in it. Trash left was not cleaned up throughout the day. We stayed on the second floor and could hear everything that was going on in the condo above us and next to us. Lights out in staircase the entire week.
