Great location, good for large family

We enjoyed our spring break. The home is nicely appointed, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, furnishings are older but well maintained. The abundance of natural light was really nice, even on stormy days. Curb appeal could be better by mowing the lawn, removing rusted yard decorations and overall maintenance of the exterior. The property management and maintenance team was highly responsive when we called for a repair. Excellent location for a quick walk to and from the beach. Lots of space for all of us to spread out and have privacy. Overall. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great house, loved it!

We enjoyed this home. Very clean, comfortable, and good location. Called to report a leaking sink but never saw a repair person. Furniture on bedroom balcony is in need of replacement. Other than that we loved it.

Great place to stay in an ideal location!

The property itself was really lovely and right across the street from a walkway to the beach! Everything was clean and checkout/checkin processes were easy and manageable. The only thing I’ll point out, which should be obvious from the listing, is that there are a lot of stairs to get into the property, which might be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. Overall, we had a wonderful time staying here and would absolutely recommend this to anyone else looking for a place to stay on Oak Island!

Family vacation

House was very clean. The cleaning g crew was 45 minutes late for us to get in. I was told lots of times in email that it cost extra to check in early but nothing to say about us not able to get in on time. That was disappointing. The down stairs air would not cool below 80 until the middle of the night.

Weekend with Friends and Family

We had a great time at this house! The decks are so nice and the location is perfect! We had mostly everything we needed. I would suggest providing essentials like hand soap and at least one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom.

The house was beautiful! We had a great time with our family of 5, everyone had their own space.

The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the front porches and enjoying the view.

Spring Getaway

This property was perfect for our family group. The beach access was great. We loved sitting out on the deck. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location!

Southern Horizon sits across the street from direct beach access and the upper deck was great for looking out over the water. Our family was so relaxed and we had all the amenities from home at this location. We will definitely be coming back next year!
