I stayed a month in the appartment of Hajnal and Victor during the month I was working in Budapest. The appartment itself is fantastic. It is very spacious, luxurious and perfectly located. My hosts were also very responsive to help me out for the many requests I had. I can only wish to come back soon.

The best Budapest apartment in district 5

The apartment was very large, clean and centrally located. The owner was responsive when I mistakenly booked the apartment for one fewer night then needed. The owner, also, helped with restaurant suggestions. Being located across the street from The University Church, or Mary of the Assumption, allowed us to attend mass every day during our stay. It was the best location for us!

The locations is great, the property is clean and well kept, the owner is very responsive and helpful. If returning to Budapest we would certainly stay here again. Do not let the lack of current reviews turn you off; there is an explanation. We walked to almost everything we wanted to do occasionally using UBER or Bolt. If arriving by train be sure to use UBER as opposed to just walking out to the cab stand.

This is the place to stay!!

Wonderful host. Very spacious, clean, beautiful apartment with comfortable beds, useful kitchen and good bathrooms, in a great centrally located location. And surprisingly quiet. There is no downside to this apartment. It was a pleasure to stay here and Hajnal was so helpful, arranging our taxis to and from the apartment. Highly recommend.

Very nice property!

Very nice property in a perfect location! Short walk to attractions, shopping, restaurants and the Danube. We were 6 friends, apartment was perfect for us with enough space, good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. It is just like the pictures. Also received very good information from manager regarding our stay, and our questions regarding suggestions of restaurants and transportation in Budapest. Very much recommend this place!

Impeccable property ideal for two couples

The immaculate, spacious, and artfully decorated apartment is ideally situated in the old city, next to a pleasant square and steps from an array of coffee houses, restaurants, bakery and small market. Property manager Hajnal Gal contributed much to our enjoyment by orienting us to the apartment and to the nearby area, assisting with ordering taxis and arranging tickets for concerts, and in other very helpful ways. This charming apartment is a perfect base to explore and learn about a graceful, intoxicating city and its history, cuisine, and cultural attractions.

Clean, Bright, Spacious, well-located

This was the perfect place for our family to call home during our stay in Budapest. Located on a plaza with shops, grocery, restaurants, coffee houses, just blocks from the Danube, to the major attractions, to Cornivus University and to public transportation, this apartment is a gem. Despite being in a lively location, it is quiet in the apartment which is outfitted with a updated bathrooms and kitchen. It is clean, spacious and very comfortable. The owner was very helpful answering questions about where to eat, etc. I would highly recommend this apartment and would stay there again in a minute if I return to Budapest!

Large comfortable apartment for 3 couples in great location

Three couples stayed in this apartment for 3 nights while visiting Budapest. Communications with Hajnal were excellent. She responds promptly and answers all questions thoroughly. The location is excellent, and there is a Starbucks a stones throw from the apartment gate if you need a fix. The pictures fairly represent what you find when you arrive, with the possible exception that the sofa is no longer pristine white. (White sofas are probably not the wisest choice for a rental apt.) All rooms are large except the kitchen which is still perfectly adequate for a rental. The bathrooms are modern and showers and toilets all work well. There was only one hairdryer and it wasn't great, but we got by. Storage space in the bedrooms could have been better, but for 3 days it was adequate. Upon arrival Hajnal was out of the country so we were met by Brigitta who was very nice but doesn't speak English. Even so, we were able to communicate the essentials. If you are traveling with friends, this apt makes a great home base to come back to and re-group after a day of touring. Tips: (1) The key fob for the apartment key is what lets you into the gate--you hold it up in front of the key pad and it automatically buzzes and unlocks the gate. (2) The Hungarian language is so different, and things are so spread out in the city, I recommend hiring a tour guide to help you see the city and get around. We spent two half days--one in Pest and one in Buda--with our tour guide. (3) After having read that taxis were not always honest, we were apprehensive about how to get to the apt from the train station. Hajnal had warned us that it might cost €30. But we were met on the train platform by a taxi driver who offered to take all 6 of us to our apt in his minivan for €10. We thought it was odd to be met on the platform like that and were worried that there would be a catch. But when we emerged from the station, there was his yellow taxi minivan, and he drove us directly to our apt and asked us for €10 just as promised. We were so grateful (and relieved) that we made a booking with him on the spot to take us to the airport 3 days later. For the airport transfer (a much longer trip than the train station) he charged €25. He turned out to be very interesting, and more importantly he solved our transportation problems, so we tipped him generously to show our appreciation.

Logement parfait

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans l'appartement d'Hajnal, parfaitement conforme au descriptif, ce qui nous a permis d'oublier la météo malheureusement un peu triste. Le quartier était parfait pour trouver de quoi manger dehors le soir sans aller trop loin et Hajnal a été de très bon conseil en la matière ! Merci encore pour tout, j'espère pouvoir revenir au beaux jours ;-)

Great place

Wonderful location and place. Easy walks to so many places. Apartment was perfect for the six of us with comfortable beds. Just a couple of recommendations: instructions on heating, access to a mop and broom and a few more blankets. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the help with arranging taxi’s and tickets. Thank you!

Perfect

We spent our Thanksgiving holiday in Budapest and loved this property. The apartment is airy, spacious and situated in a vibrant but quiet area. It had everything our group of 5 could want. The booking process, communication with the owners, airport pick up, check in, check out and airport departure could not have been better. The location of the apartment is very convenient and we ended up walking just about everywhere we went over 5 days. Uber is not available in Hungary and we sometimes found taxis and Bolt to be less than reliable and we were so happy with the convenient location. This property is highly recommended.

Hard to believe my good fortune

From the moment I first saw this property on VRBO, it made my heart sing. Very beautiful, great utilities, spacious and in a great location. Gal communicated in a timely way with appreciated detail. Her visit with us when first arriving was very helpful. Always good to feel comfortable with appluances in a new place! Gal also got us tickets for the top two baths (although if I were doing it again, I would go to Széchenyi twice and not bother with Gellert. Gellert was too much of a drunken baccahanal for my tastes). I highly recommend this property

Best place to stay in Budapest!

the apartment was huge! recently renovated, had a fully modern kitchen & 3 bathrooms! We were 6 in the family, my wife and I, 2 daughters & my son & his wife. there was room for all. [when you travel with 4 women, bathrooms and hot water are a BIG deal] this place was amazing! its location, in the heart of downtown was perfect for us. we walked everywhere! lots of great restaurants were footsteps from our door. highly recommended!

Lovely apartment, great location!

Very spacious quiet apartment but very close to shops, restaurants, bakeries. Only 10mins walk to Danube and No.2 tram. Great restaurant close by called Fat Mo's, fab food and service plus live music. Hajnal & Viktor very helpful both before we left home and during our stay. 3 good size bedrooms & bathrooms, would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous apartment, very clear instructions for easy access , lovely lady to deal with . Recommended to a friend who immediately booked another property belonging to the same lady ! Couldn’t recommend her and the property highly enough, pictures of accommodation are 100% accurate , will definitely will be back .

Fantastic large apartment in the heart of Budapest

This apartment is fantastic, delicious food and plenty of activities and sites just steps away. Close to the market, and public transportation, but with Budapest being such a walkable city we enjoyed just strolling from this large well appointed home base. Hajnal is a fantastic hostess and helped organize airport transportation and bath house tickets. She was quick to respond and communications were excellent.

Great location and nice apartment

This apartment has a great location and was perfect for three couples. The apartment is quite large and each couple had their own room and bathroom, two of which are ensuite. The living and dining room are also nice size so you never feel crowded. The checkin and check out process was easy and the owner was very helpful.
