Another excellent stay at this gorgeous house on Palmer Lake. Love the huge kitchen, giant kitchen table and couch, the fire pit, plentiful outdoor seating and easy lake access. Some of the checkout info is a bit out of date, but the hosts were very responsive throughout the week to our questions and very minor issues. Can't wait to plan another stay here!

Our family stayed for 5 nights at the Collins home on Palmer Lake and there are so many wonderful things we could say about this rental. There were 10 of us total (5 children ranging from 3-14) and we all had so much fun enjoying fishing, swimming, pontoon cruising, and the many indoor and outdoor activities and toys available at the home. The pontoon was spacious and perfect for enjoying the lake, highly recommend renting it during your stay. The outdoor seating and porch areas were definitely a highlight when not on the lake, the sunsets were a perfect view. The home was clean and stocked with plenty of things to make the stay feel more like home. We had such a great time. Thank you John and Angel!

This rental exceeded all of our expectations. We had ample space and the house had everything we needed. It was wonderful to have multiple places for people to break off and have space to chat, recharge or gather for games. Having access to a pontoon was a wonderful addition to our week.The cousins enjoyed swimming, fishing, walking down to the local ice cream store, watching movies, playing bags, sitting by the campfire and so much more.The huge water front, enormous yard and comfy outdoor and patio seating made it possible for all of us to truly rest and relax. The owners were on top of everything and extremely attentive. Communication was fantastic. Felt spoiled by all the extra features the rental offered. We all agreed one of our favorite things was the speaker system!!

Great Family Vacation!

We booked Angel & John's house for a one week family vacation in June, and we could not have been happier with our stay! The house is beautiful and very well maintained inside & out. It had everything we needed and then some. We were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of toys to keep our 3 year old entertained and a high chair for our 11 month old to eat at the table with us, just to name a couple of things we were not expecting to find.The yard is huge and very well-kept. Ample space to enjoy pretty much any outdoor activity/game you could think of, along with a myriad of outdoor living spaces to just relax and gather.Watching sunsets from the pier every night was definitely a highlight and the sandy bottom swim area was perfect for our little ones.Angel & John were both very responsive hosts and we very much appreciate them sharing their lovely home with us!

Superb House

This house has so many amenities. The home owners provide all the little things - soap, paper towel, kleenex, towels, beach towels, shower supplies... The kitchen is one of the best we have ever had in a VRBO. We wanted for nothing. We had plenty of sleeping space for our entire large family. The outside is amazing. There are multiple seating areas, tons of chairs, a beautiful lawn, grill and access to a pontoon boat for renting. We booked it again for next year on the first day of our stay. This is a must do if you need a quiet, large, comfortable house. The owner was amazing to work with too!!!

Stunning, spacious home- perfect for family gathering

John's place did not disappoint! True to description and other reviews-- well stocked, clean, spacious and plenty to do. My multigenerational family (from 75 years to infant) enjoyed the large gathering room and spent many mornings out on the porch overlooking the water. Huge bonus being able to rent the pontoon boat to explore the lake. If you have small children, there is a local, public beach/park right around the corner. Five star pizza was great; we enjoyed that while playing games and spending many nights at the bonfire. 10/10 would recommend!

Great Palmer Lake Vacation

Large lakefront home with bedrooms, kitchen with table and chairs, family room, and outdoor and indoor porches to comfortably accommodate my family group of 12. And Palmer Lake is large enough with low boat traffic for tubing, swimming, and kayaking.

Great For Big Families

We had our infant, toddler, teens and grandparents with us. Everyone was able to enjoy the spacious home and all the amenities that were included. Yard games, chairs, pack and plays, you name it and they have it at this home. Thanks again.

Great Lake Stay

Perfect for large family. Spacious porches for enjoying the evenings playing games and cards. Nice lakefront property and easy access into the water for cooling off. Plenty of sleeping options and very large laundry room! Also 2 refrigerators are a plus!! We will return!!

Friends Lakehouse Getaway

The home was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. There are plenty of chairs and beds for all of the guests to use. The lake view is beautiful. We rented the pontoon boat, spent time swimming and lounging in rafts. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Fantastic Find for Family Gathering

This house has it all, with no lack of space! Plenty of beds, bathrooms, seating for meals and even seating for relaxation!! Outdoor yard toys in garage and beautiful lake view!!!! Only 5 parking spots, but that wasn’t an issue. Loved it so much we re-booked the very last availability they had in July! Cannot wait to return!

Beautiful lake and sunset view from the porch!

My six grade school girlfriends and I spent four WONDERFUL days in this beautiful lakefront home. There was plenty of room for us to have our meals together in the kitchen and to sit on the porch enjoying our morning coffee and the evening sunset, with comfortable seating for all. There were also plenty of bedrooms for each of us to have privacy. We LOVED the pontoon boat, also plenty of room for all of us and VERY comfortable seating. Thank you to the owners, who were very responsive and whose story touched all of our hearts.

AMAZING week for our Large Family of 13!

We have rented Lakehouses since 2007 and this house was the best by far! The care of the house did not go unnoticed. The house was top-notch with supplies, space, amenities, technology, music, yard area, seating areas, etc. We don’t like to repeat houses in our annual yearly adventures, but I have a feeling we will be back to this one! Thank you for the care you give your home!

Perfect family getaway cottage

This house was perfect for our extended family summer getaway. The house was extremely well stocked (far more so than most rentals we’ve stayed at in the past). It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The owners were responsive and easy to deal with. It seems the only thing they take more pride in than their cottage, is their family and love of country. Aside from the weather, it was a perfect getaway. We are planning a return trip to the cottage next summer.

Wonderful vacation

This place was perfect. We loved all the space and all the bedrooms. There was plenty of room for us all to hang out together or in smaller groups. We had 6 adults and 4 teenage boys and 1 3 year old. The place was exactly how it was pictured. We loved all the games and toys and the large table. It was great place for our family to meet, it was between SD and PA. We would definitely come again. It was a great week and many memories were made.

Absolutely perfect

I can’t put into words how much we enjoyed our time here. The location was beautiful. The house had everything we needed and more. We had kids from ages 2-11 and there were toys for all ages that entertained them. Owners were very quick to respond when we were having difficulty getting the speakers to work.
