1st off the property description was deceiving. We did not see where it was a duplex & we were on the bottom until after we booked it. We brought this to the hosts attn. & were told go back & look. There was little tiny words that said see more: Upon clicking on that it brought up another page that said it was a duplex? We would have never stayed here as we like our privacy & the people upstairs were very loud & you could hear every time they walked across the floor. Oh yeah it also said that there was an arcade game on front pg. listing but we never found one? It is a nice location. The house was clean except in & around the fridge where there is a bad cockroach problem. Hot tub was nice but had dirt in the bottom of it upon arrival. We asked if they could fix the outdoor light on the pole & were told the back porch light should be enough, but it wasn't as it was very dark at night. A 60-watt porch bulb compared to an all Nite light??? They had 2 lights on the poles outside & we were told that they were broke after handyman came by. The upper unit had an outdoor light but the host acted like we were crazy for asking as no one else had ever had a problem with it. All in all it was not worth the money. Just beware of shady description & be sure & read all the fine print before booking. Would not recommend this property. We've stayed in the mountains plenty of times but this was probably worst accommodations to date.

We try to be very clear and the first line in the description of the home is notating that this is a duplex unit. I apologize that you missed it. I'm also sorry that you felt the porch light was not enough outdoor lighting, but we could not add additional lighting during your stay. We did offer to send pest control during your stay but you refused. When we had them out on the day of your departure, they did not find any evidence of pests. We take pest claims very seriously and have them out once a month for preventative treatments. We wish you the best in your future travels.

Enjoyed my stay

We enjoyed our stay we were very surprised/ confused when we got there we didn’t realize the house was split into two different rentals but we still enjoyed would 100% recommend

Birthday trip in the smokies

The place was nice but definitely would need more toilet paper instead of two rolls it could have more than 3 rolls other than that nice stay.

Christmas Vacation

We loved our stay. Everything we wanted and or needed to enjoy our stay was provided. The location was awesome close enough to all the attractions and stuff but far enough away to avoid a lot of the traffic. The only thing I didn’t realize was it was the bottom floor of a house not the whole house until they sent me check in information but it was big enough for everyone to enjoy our stay

The place was nice. When we booked we didn’t realize it was a duplex. I wish that was on the first line of the description. The upstairs neighbors were very noisy. They were up stomping & a kid running around before 7am every morning. I understand the host cannot do much to control that however we reached out to them about the noise & never got a response back. Over all, the home itself was nice.

Short stay. It very nice

Absolutely loved staying here. It was close enough to everything but still away from everything. Only suggestion is better lighting outside at night. It was kind of creepy for this city girl at night walking the dog. But the house was just as advertised and the beds were ohhhh sooooo comfortable. Will definitely look into staying here again.

Extremely clean property! Beds are very comfortable! Water pressure is great! Hot tub is hot! Heat was great when coming in from a frigid time at The Island. I will say we were a tad disappointed that the listing is shown as entire home when booking and then the description states lower level only. However, the location and comfortability of the property made up for that and was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children! If you are staying here with littles just be sure to watch their fingers in the sliding barn doors as they move quickly! There is some previous wear and tear aesthetically but as previously stated the cleanliness was great and it did not seem like the property was just forgotten and uncared for. The door separating the levels was locked well and we did not worry that anyone would be coming in from the top level! Overall, we had a wonderful time!

Momma Happy

This was a time for me to take a break from work and life in general. I only live an hour away, but this home was everything I needed! I don't get these getaways very often, so it was great!! I stayed in the lower level of the home and it was very clean and very updated! Definately worth it!

Family time away!

We live in Knoxville so we are very familiar with the area but this little gem is one of the best spots I’ve stayed at in sevierville! So close to everything Sevierville has to offer yet so off and private. If you enjoy just sitting outside at night by a fire this is the place for you to stay and relax and unwind from reality! This was myself and husband and our 4 kids for our sons 6th birthday, they had a high chair and pack and play most definitely a family place. We are looking forward to next year to come back!!

Great time!

Overall had a great time! Nice area but is pretty small! Would rent the property again but would have probably rented the top portion out if we had realized it was a split level. We had issues with the hot tub warming but wasn’t a big problem for us since we didn’t use it much! Property owners were very quick to get back to us and have someone come look at it

Short stay

Location was good and accessible for many places. I don’t like that you can hear everything from the upstairs duplex. A family with young children were staying above us during our stay and the little ones would run around all night stomping . As a parent I get it but as a family on vacation that wasn’t pleasant and made it hard to sleep.

Dollywood trip

There were six of us so having three bedrooms with king beds was very helpful. Place is very small but had all we needed for a one night stay. Does seem over priced especially having residents above us whose every move was heard. We went to sleep when they did and got up when they did due to the noise. Host was respo sive and provided clear directions and instructions.

The one thing I would say is expecting guests to bring hot tub towels when they are from out of town does not seem reasonable.

My husband & I love the smokey mountains and visit as often as possible. I grew up near Chattanooga TN and it's great to return to our roots and spend time with family. With our vacation home it makes it easier to enjoy a visit more often we hope to share the home we enjoy with you!

We were renting cabins and had some trouble with tight driveways and long drives back to them, so we looked for our own place. We enjoy seeing the leaves turn in the fall and all the concerts offered close by. We enjoy relaxing and watching the sunsets. Our favorite amenity is the hot tub. We love to go to several of the shows close by as well as the restaurants nearby. We're also just a few miles from The Island and the cool things it offers including The Wheel (Giant Ferris Wheel)

We love being in the natural wonder around the home. Having a hot tub on site is wonderful. We are close to restaurants, Shows & Museums. Our favorite restaurants are Apple Barn, Local Goat, Junction 35, & Blue Moose. Our favorite shows are the Stampede, Pirates, and Country Tonite
