We're a small family with 7y old daughter that love to travel together and discover and explore new places. The apartment is truly a gem in the heart of the town of Laredo - located in the attic of the old building with so much cozy details in it like wooden floors, brick walls, lots of windows and air yet very tastefully decorated. The bathroom is the best I've seen (even in the magazines). The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds in the bedrooms were enormous yet comfortable. Please note that apartment is located on the fifth floor of the building with no elevator, so you'll have to climb the stairs.
The owner has been very fast to respond, very diligent and helpful at all times.
The town itself is small but nonetheless bustling with lots of restaurants open at the time we stayed which didn't really bothered us at nights though. The town's biggest beach, La Salve is awesome. I recommend you climb the Atalaya hill in the eastern part of the town and enjoy the sunset from there as well as town's skyline. We also have had a privilege to enjoy the yearly Battle of Flowers contest happening in town that fancied sophisticated floating figures made of flowers by locals with a fireworks show later in the night as a cherry on top. Laredo is also in a 1h drive proximity to other remarkable places worth visiting like Bilbao, Santander, Comillas, Santillana del Mar, San Vincent de la Barquera etc.
