Good stay

Overall a good stay! Not far walk to get to the beach. Does need some improvement on cleanliness, probably someone that doesn’t care about the job and just gets it somewhat clean. Out of the three pools available, one is 21+

Comfortable for 6

Pantry space labeled and available in the hall to the bedroom, large closet just inside as well. There was plenty of space for 6 people and our things with the closets and dressers. Pots and pans looked fairly new. Have stayed here in years past and will continue to book when available. It is the first condo in the row and right by the stairs to the boardwalk- great location!

Great place!

We truly enjoyed our get away. The adult Pool was clean and the view from the room was beautiful. One super tiny thing- we like to cook instead of going out and there was only one small frying pan. The rest of the kitchen was great!!!!

Everything we needed

The condo was adorably decorated with a beachy feel. Had no problems with check in or check out. Couldn’t figure out if ice maker worked and tub in en suite didn’t have functional stopper, could only shower. Would definitely book again. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen had every cooking item we needed.

Cleanliness

The condo and stay were great. However, the room was not cleaned well. Some of the tables were not wiped down or cleaned from the past occupants. It’s disappointing with these times with COVID 19 that things aren’t taken more serious for cleanliness. Also, if we are to start the dishwasher before we leave, there should be some dish washing detergent for a proper wash. I feel as if the dishes are being washed with just water. It’s what we had to do. No toilet paper refills either. One per bathroom. A/C worked great though.

Very Solid Vacation Spot

Location was amazing. Just a few steps away from two pools. Just a few more steps away from the beach. Able to go out in the morning and walk the beach, then come back and get packed to go relax in the sand. There is even a cool little seafood restaurant on site that was doing take out while we were there (due to COVID). The only thing that I did not like was the location of the actual Beach. It was about 20 minutes away from Gulf Shores, which doesn't seem like much, but the road that you take to get there seems to go on forever. But if you are looking to be close to the beach and simply relax for a few days, this is the spot or you.

Why we keep coming back.

We have been coming to the Plantation for over thirty years. We like the relaxed atmosphere and charm of the units in Plantation East. It is the most beautiful beach on the gulf.

Great unit and resort.

My family has stayed here six or seven years now. The unit is perfectly adequate and is supplied with almost anything we need for our stay. The loss of the DVD rental machine as an onsite amenity was painful for the family, and we were unable to locate the linen exchange that was previously available. These aside, we have zero complaints about the unit and look forward to next year.
