I've got noting negative to say about the place in no means. If your into bright and shiny and modern this is more beachy vibed and a great room for you vacation.

The location, the facilities, the convenience, the less crowded, peaceful beach does not get much better! The condo was very clean, well equipped for our needs, only suggestion would be alittle updating. We will no doubt return again!!

Just Perfect

This condo is located on the 3rd floor near the stairs for easy access to the pool and beach walkway. The spacious balcony is restful and allows for a beautiful ocean view. The owner recently updated the countertops and cabinets in the well appointed kitchen to make this a homey and comfortable space.

Awesome condo with a gorgeous view!

We have stayed multiple times in this condo because we love the proximity to the beach, updated kitchen, gorgeous views and well maintained facilities. We love the beautiful floors and comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The condo is well stocked with everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. The washer and dryer unit is a wonderful convenience to have in our condo. We will recommend this condo to everyone who comes to Gulf Shores. We look forward to coming again whenever possible.

Needs a refresh

Pillow in closet smelled like urine. Floors, countertops, end tables, etc. were all wet upon arrival. Door code didn't work -couldn't get in until 4:15 or after. Walls, base boards, and plugs are in very poor condition. Fitted sheets on both beds are small and don't fit. Some of the pillows are old, worn, and look and feel dirty. We aren't the type of people to complain or even leave reviews, especially negative ones. We understand that it must be tough to keep up maintenance on a condo, but we felt like we needed to express what our experience was like. We were a little disappointed when we entered the condo, but would like to say that the condo is well furnished and everything seems to be in working order. And the large patio is great!

A bit disappointed

Loved the beach location, but unit was in need of some maintenance and upgrades. Family members stayed in the same building and had much nicer accommodations for a similar price. Our unit was not clean upon arrival. Food and crumbs on the carpet and sand on floors. Closet doors were difficult to open and pantry door had no handle. The dishwasher would not drain and the standing water in it smelled. This info was passed on to Vacasa so hopefully the owners will take action to make their unit more user friendly. The location on the beach was the redeeming factor.

Plantation Vacation Rentals

We are long time regular repeat plantation guests. We love this property overall, and we stay here at least 2 or 3 times per year on average. This was our first stay in the Palms 6311 unit. For the most part it was a very good unit. It definitely could use a little TLC in the department of updates and upgrades, but overall it is a comfortable, pleasant unit. It is also decorated beautifully and we enjoyed the artwork in it! We did have some issues with this stay, but they didn't have anything to do with the unit itself. The cleaning crew could have done a lot better of a job. We had some upstairs neighbors that were very loud on our last two nights there. People were smoking out on their balconies where they aren't supposed to and the stink from it was very unpleasant. The hot tub was very dirty and full of small children much of the time. People were being loud during quiet hours. Unruly children were running through the halls and in/out of elevators with no sign of any adult supervision. The Plantation security team needs to do MUCH better about enforcing the property rules. Guests seem to be getting more and more obnoxious, rude, disrespectful, and are not adhering to property rules at all. It is the job of management and security to clean this issue up and put a stop to all the rule breaking and disrespect of the property, facilities, and other guests. Being long time regular guests here, we have seen the progression of this place going downhill fast. Too many of the amenities are unusable and/or closed too often as well. It really is sad because this place used to be one of the best vacation properties in all of the Gulf Shores area. None of this is a reflection of the actual condo units or owners. It is strictly a problem of the property management and security. We sincerely hope to see all these issues addressed, dealt with, and the property returned to all of it previous glory!

A Perfect Stay!!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the plantation #6311. The host Adriane was prompt at replying to our requests and made sure everything went smoothly. The condo itself is perfectly placed so you get a STUNNING view of the ocean and can hear the SOOTHING ocean sound. The memories we made at #6311 will live with us for a life time. 10/10 recommended!

We loved the view, it was absolutely amazing! The porch is so nice & bigger than most. Loved having access & the view from the master as well as the living room! The sofa bed was broken & had a piece of plywood between cushions & pull out bed so had to remove the wood just to pull bed out & discovered springs missing that were needed to hold mattress in place so had to put board across bottom of bed just to hold mattress in place. Both kids couldn’t sleep on it so was very upsetting & uncomfortable at bed time each night! Was disappointed that master bath had only one door between toilet/shower area but no door at all from sink leading to bedroom area. Would definitely return if sofa bed was replaced with something usable.

The perfect vacation

The booking and check in process was the easiest it has ever been. The condo was perfect for us. Loved being able to sit on the balcony and drink coffee while watching the waves roll in. My 4th time in this complex and I will be back again.

Family vacation

Overall, our stay at this condo was an excellent experience. The decorations were cute and there was a lot of room on the patio for us to have time outside. Beach access was convenient and we used the indoor pool every day. There were a few things not stocked in the kitchen I wished for, but this would not be an issue for you if you ate out most of the time. Our view was great, management was great, and overall we would recommend this unit and complex to anyone looking for a beach vacation.

Unit needs some work

This unit shows it's age. Some light switches don't work, microwave is rusted out, main glass sliding door will not close. Deck furniture smells. Bed bugs.

Great home for a Beach trip

The stay was wonderful! The unit was newly renovated. The host had good taste where condo felt very inviting and homey. There was all kinds of cooking utensils. That helped us greatly with making lunch/dinner. Would recommend this place to other friends
