Fantastic family holiday home

We had an absolutely amazing holiday here. The party consisted of me, my wife, our grown up son and daughter, a 3 year old grandson, a nearly one year old grandson and my sister-in-law. We had driven from the UK and there was parking outside the property. A car is helpful but you could probably cope without one as we walked most days. Pros: • The deck and pool are amazing and this is where we spent most of our time. • The house is huge and a very quirky design but could probably benefit from a bit of renovation and a general tidy up but as I said, we spent most of the time outdoors. • The gas barbecue was great and got plenty of use. • We regularly walked with young children to both the old town and the Juan Les Pins seafront. About 15 minute walk to the seafront and a bit longer back due to hills and probably 10 minutes longer to the old town. • Well stocked but pricey supermarket 5 minute walk away. • Great view of the sea from the balcony • Good TV and reliable wi-fi (following a reboot) • The pool guy was friendly and helpful and recommended a few places to visit. Cons: • We paid extra for bed linen and towels (a bit unusual and cost more than items were worth) and did not initially receive enough but the property management team dropped off more later. We were not given linen for the second week so washed it ourselves in the machine. • A few blown light bulbs etc. • Kitchen could be a bit better equipped but we didn’t cook in indoors much. • Deck could do with a bit of treatment as we all picked up a few splinters. • No local info or leaflets etc. • The cleaning charge was rather high especially as we left the property pretty much as we found it. We felt that most of the problems we did experience were more the fault of the property management team than Marc the owner. Marc’s communication was excellent and he was friendly and helpful. The security deposit was quite a bit higher than we’d normally expect although it was refunded promptly and in full.

Sehr entspannter Urlaub

Die Organisation im Vorfeld war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert, der Aufenthalt sehr entspannt. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, jederzeit gerne wieder.

Très belle maison. Antibe et surtout le vieil Antibes est tres agréable. Plages trop petites

tres belle maison et surtout très agréable, bien équipée. Piscine pas trop profonde donc très bien pour jouer. Propriétaire à l'écoute, disponible pour la moindre question. Quant aux plages du coin c'est dommage elles sont petites donc on est vite les uns sur les autres
