湖の端から25フィートのところにある焼けジャケット半島の木々の中に隠されたこの家は、地元の職人によって伝統的な方法で硬い松の丸太を使って建設されました。 あなたは12エーカーの森、道、そして海岸線、そして何百エーカーもの近隣のバックカントリーの中でハイキングやスノーシューを楽しむことができます。 キャビンはまた、リリーベイ州立公園から南にわずか9マ��ル、グリー��ビルのダウンタウンから11マイル北にあります（これもボートでアクセス可能です）。

We really loved the cabin. It sits right on the lake. We used the kayaks and just sat on the porch looking at the lake. Beautiful views. Very nice.

Simply gorgeous cabin on a magnificent lake

We loved the quiet, the privacy, the sound of the Loons, and the stunning views of the lake. We couldn't quite see the sunset at this time of year, but if you hop in the kayak and go about 50 yards, you get a great view! I paddled for a couple of hours up the lake and there was a lot of natural beauty, unlike other more developed lakes. Everything was as mentioned in the listing. It was clean, well stocked with firewood, charcoal, everything but food and beach towels (at least I didn't see any). There are 2 kayaks (one is a tandem) and a paddle board. The master bed is extremely firm so if you have a queen pad, you might want to bring it. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Perfect family getaway

The property was just perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake morning, noon & night. IF I had to find something to improve upon it would be the washer/dryer unit. For our active family over 8 days, cleaning towels and clothes was essential. The unit was small and time-consuming. But such a small factor in the big picture. We had a blast and would recommend the property to others without hesitation.

Relaxing and serene

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Listened to Loons and enjoyed the lake and mountain vistas. We went for a long kayak and saw some fantastic shoreline.

ABSOLUTE PEACE AND BEAUTY

This location was AMAZING. The beauty of the lake out of the windows and French doors was exceptional. The cabin could not have been more welcoming, clean, well appointed or right out of a design magazine. It would be just what we would want to own and would never leave. Will be visiting again and staying longer. Thank you for sharing this wonderful, peaceful, beautiful place with us.

Very cozy cabin

Sheperd's cabin is a very cozy log cabin. The location right on the lake is just incredible. If you are looking for a quiet place this is it. It was very clean and had everything you needed. The washing machine was also a plus. Unfortunately we could not use the kayaks because it was raining and cold. We would stay here again anytime.

Lovely stay at a lovely cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was perfectly set up. It was close to town without being too far away. We were there for the Fly In and enjoyed watching the seaplanes from the dock. Thank you for the use of the kayaks. We had a lovely stay.

This property should be named paradise in the woods. It was everything it was supposed to be . There were no surprises or let downs . Just pure relaxation at its best.

Perfect August Stay

With only 1.5 days of rain, our August vacation was perfect. We were nursing a leg injury so we did not participate in any hiking. We spent a lot of time at the cabin and on the dock. It was just what our family of three needed! We saw two deer and a handful of hummingbirds. No moose this year, but there is always next year :)

Great Cabin in the woods of Maine on Moosehead Lake

We loved our stay at Shepard's Cabin. The unit was clean and well stocked. The dirt road was in good condition (Aug 2022) and navigation via directions provided by Vacasa / Owner were perfect. Caught one fish and had quite a few bites casting off the swimmers dock. Fully enjoyed the remote location at the base of Burnt Jacket Mountain. Only 30 min drive to Downtown Greenville. Local hiking trails and sightseeing is easily accessible. Can not wait to go back!
