Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and the fire pit. The sunsets were amazing. Waking up above the clouds was awesome. Overall a great 4 nights and would love to return!

We were only here a few nights and usually do a weekend cabin trip like this at least once per year. Compared to previous experiences and other options in this price range, we were rather disappointed. After a day of traveling, the check in process required two separate 10-40min phone calls with the property manager to provide details for their expectations of us. Everything discussed on the call was also written in the instructions book in the cabin, so this felt extremely unnecessary. Couple this with a comment from the owner about “tracking us down if we don’t call when we got to the cabin”, and negative comments about the previous guests, we were questioning if we were being watched or if he would show up unannounced. As previous reviews have stated, the cleanliness was not up to standards as we found bugs in both the kitchen and bedroom, and the kitchen seemed to have a garbage smell even though the garbage had been taken out prior to our arrival. Unfortunately the owner also admitted to not being able to clean the hot tub as well as they would have liked too, so we hardly used it. We liked the location, and if a few changes were made to enhance the guest experience, then we could have easily given a 5star review.

Wedding Anniversary redo

Check-in was quite painless, and having to call the property manager after settling in, to get the “lay of the land” is a great feature for such a unique property. Great little place to just relax, reconnect, and enjoy the serenity.Kitchen has pretty much everything you would need to make meals, and having good WiFi is a descent bonus. Sitting on the upper deck for sunsets and enjoying the hot tub at all hours just makes this place a perfect destination for any couple looking for some seclusion and relaxation.A little tree trimming could make the gorgeous view just that much better, but all in all, it’s just amazing! We will definitely be back from time to time in the years to come.

Great post-wedding getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights as a miniature honeymoon. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the view from the porch was fantastic. Would recommend for anybody wanting a simple getaway near Chattanooga.

What an amazing place. Kerry, the property manager was so helpful - our phone call on our way to the cabin was exactly what we needed! He even provided recommendations for free things to do nearby. The kitchen was well stocked, the basket of goodies was inhaled almost immediately by our teenager, and the hot tub was spotless. I don't even have words for the spectacular views. This is everything a cabin should be. Absolute perfection.

Nice little cabin

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin while we spent a few days exploring some trails in the surrounding areas. Peaceful location, nice view and only about 30 minutes to town.

Perfect for Us

This was the cutest, coziest cabin! We loved the property, the decks, the hot tub! The view of the valley was amazing and we spent both nights on the deck watching the sunset. The cabin is quite small, so its probably not best for large families, but we loved it! Our son (13) LOVED the loft and said it was like his own private treehouse. The property manager was super communicative and really seemed to love the place. We definitely want to come back!

Anniversary get away.

Came down for a second visit we enjoyed it so much the 1st time. This cabin is a little slice of heaven devoid of the hustle and bustle of the city, with a beautiful sunrise and sunset to enjoy and a breathtaking view all day. Has all the basic amenities you could need and some. Try it for yourself you will not be disappointed!!!

What a view!

Let's start with, yes, this is a small cabin. Plenty of room for 2 people! Had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time there. Convenient to the places we went, easy in and out. So peaceful! If you cannot climb stairs easily, I wouldn't stay here, there is a spiral staircase to the ground floor where the bedroom and bathroom are. (I'd like to say its the sturdiest sprial stairs I've been on). Besides cleanliness, the little things like a personal welcome sign and snack basket, along with a throw on the couch really makes the difference to us. All questions were answered quickly. We did have some pretty bad storms, being up a mountain makes it windy. No worries though! Lights never flickered.Go to Rock City, and don't miss Snoopers Rock and the Medal Of Honor museum! Pix of our view from the top deck over several days!
