The place was clean and comfortable and quite private even though it is located on a working-horse farm with boarding and a riding arena. Our favorite places to hang out were on the deck, patio and in the Japanese style hot tub. The caretaker (Ron) met us upon arrival and offered a nice (and brief) historical overview of the property, which we really enjoyed. The kitchen was nicely appointed with lots of stainless and glass cookware and bakeware. The knife set was top notch! The living room was full of light, and the fireplace was super cozy on a chilly evening. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice place - nice location

Well located, cute home adjacent to a working horse farm. It was a great base for our day trips to the redwood forest, rocky pacific coast and the wineries in Sonoma, Napa, etc. We enjoyed our stay!

The scenery surrounding Alpine Ranch Farmhouse is simply stunning. The house itself is cozy yet spacious. The fireplace adds to the home’s welcoming ambiance. We only used one of the beds, but it was oh so comfortable. A magical experience!

Fabulous house

This is the best stocked vrbo I've stayed in. Really clean, well-organized kitchen, everything we needed. The beds are excellent, plenty of room to stretch out, and a gorgeous piece of property. All this at a reasonable price.

The farmhouse was a tranquil home away from home. The house was immaculate and Ron was a gracious host, asking if we needed anything. We will definitely be coming back! Central to everything we needed, including wineries.

Loved our stay

The farmhouse and property exceeded our expectations. We loved the setting and location. The primary bed was super comfortable and the living room had high quality furnishings to provide a comfortable stay. We ate dinner at Salt & Stone in Kenwood one of the nights and absolutely recommend. The location of the farmhouse is really ideal and convenient to so many places. Our host Caroline was wonderful to work with and communication and the guidebook were excellent. Thank you again!
