Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Staff did excellent job to solve problems like replacing tv. Ad placed in web site shows free chairs for unit on beach for the week but found out it started march 1 day after we left. It was very nice, equipped with everything you need and so accommodating for my husband and I. Staying at Silver Dunes is like home away from home with benefits of the pool & beach! I have recommended it to my friends and told them how wonderful it is and how pleasant the management is to work with. I can’t wait to come back!! I say if you want a great place to have a wonderful vacation, book your stay at the Silver Dunes in Destin!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent our 30th anniversary in Silver Dunes Unit 2 (a.k.a. “DestiNation”). The unit was up to date, clean and in a great location. There was a fully stocked coffee bar which made mornings very enjoyable. The location was central to everything around town and the beach was the reason we keep coming to this property. The included beach service was one of the many reasons that we chose this unit for the 2 of us. We will be back.

Needs updating

We were pretty disappointed when we checked into our room. It was much smaller than we anticipated, and in bad need of updating. The bed and pillows were both uncomfortable, and bedding very low quality. The positive was the beach. It was lovely, and the pool was nice enough. Heated, so that was good. All in all, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Great little condo

We stayed for a short girls trip. Everything was comfortable, and clean. I love silver dunes, you can walk down to the beach in just a couple minutes with it being a smaller condo. Beach service staff was friendly, and helpful. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to arcade/water slides/restaurants etc. Easy checkout as well!

Amazing place and near the beach

We loved our stay in the house. It's a cute house and we liked cause it's in the ground floor, so no stairs. The only complaining that we have is about the umbrella on the beach. I sent a message days before asking if they provide chairs and umbrella for the beach, so they informed that didn't provide. So we bought 2 chairs and a tend, but when we arrived at the beach, 2 guys informed that we couldn't install the tend, it was written in nowhere and nobody informed us about it. But the big surprise was that the second day there was more than 3 bigger tends installed around us and nobody said nothing to them. We were very upset with that! So don't forget your chairs and umbrella, NO TENDS if you are lucky!

Check in and check out was very easy. Contacted quickly when booking property. Clean. Family oriented. Great beach chair service. Wish all property had own laundry.

Family Fun in Destin

Enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and functional. Loved being on the beach. The only thing I found wrong was being awakened each morning at 5am by the trash truck. I would definitely stay at Silver Dunes again, but perhaps a unit further away from the trash truck.
