これは真新しい（2018年8月に完成した建設）、ガニソン川の1エーカーの敷地にガニソンのダウンタウンから2マイル北に位置する、家具付きのカスタム500平方フィートの家です。 。 楽園の美しい作品。 ！！RTAバス停（Crested ButteとGunnisonへの無料バス）と町への自転車道まで徒歩15分です。 専用の私道と駐車場、直通テレビ、施設内にあるW / D。 所有者は宿泊施設に住んでおり、必要に応じて利用可能です。

This was my second stay in as many weeks. I have been living and working in Gunnison for the past year and a half and since my lease went up at my apartment (1/4 mile south) this cottage has served me well and has been very comfortable and private. I hope to reserve it again before I leave the valley to go home to Paonia.

Karah and Bob’s “Gus’s Getaway” is the perfect couple’s getaway on the Gunnison river. We were looking for a quiet cabin to enjoy some late fall colors and private access to one of Colorado’s most coveted trout fisheries. This is a very well stocked, super clean, and cozy cabin that leaves you looking forward to your next visit. Only 6 miles from a lively Main Street restaurant scene and under an hour from incredible views of The Black Canyon National Park. Best of all… the fishing right behind the cabin is legendary! We can’t wait to book next season! Karen and Bob are the most kind and generous hosts! 100% recommend!!

What a lovely cabin to spend a few days around Gunnison! Karah was awesome and very responsive with questions. The cabin was absolutely darling and well appointed. Our dog loved the yard, as well. Thank you for such a lovely stay!!

We stayed at this cottage for a 5 day biking vacation. The location was perfect to hit Hartman Rocks and gravel riding in the Gunnison National Forest. The kitchen had everything we needed and a grocery store was close by. It was private and quiet at night - even saw a shooting star one night. Highly recommend this location.

Meticulously clean and neat. Plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. Plenty of parking. Beautifully crafted cabin with attention to detail. All the amenities of home. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood, just step into the large yard to immerse yourself in nature and hear the river flowing by. The yard is full of fun for the family with a swing, horseshoes, frisby golf thingy, furnished wooden teepee with electricity that kids would love or lovers would love to get away from the other guests for a little privacy or relax by the river. Definitely worth the money, if you’re not staying here while in Gunison then you’re missing out.

The check in was very easy. Kara left detailed instructions. The cottage was clean and had everything you would ever need. Very nice and relaxing. Gunnison is just a few minutes away. I highly recommend the cottage as a place to stay!!

Excellent Getaway for Two

We spent a very delightful week and look forward to returning. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. The cabin design was well thought out and, while small (500 sq ft), it “felt much larger.” Important design features include a full-sized, fully-equipped kitchen, a full-sized bathroom (with tub-shower combination), a covered front porch with table and seating for two, and a large back deck with an adjacent patio that can accommodate several visitors. Inside, the owners included several important extra amenities: many more lights and electrical outlets than usually found in units like this; several outlets with USB charging capabilities; and high-speed internet access. The cabin location near the dead-end of the road resulted in a very quiet environment. Direct access from the back of the property to the Gunnison River was a real plus. Truly this is a five-star property.

Amazing location! Just as described. I stayed here for a fishing trip and had a great time. Even caught a few Brown and Rainbow trout in the river right on the property! Thank you so much Karah and Bob!

Gunnison cottage

Beautifully constructed guest cottage, with great natural light, and views of gorgeous old cottonwoods out almost every window. The place was very clean and Karah is great to deal with if questions. So much incredible outdoor recreation in the area and the cottage is a wonderful place to return to. Looking forward to booking again.

beautiful getaway

Property is a beautiful quiet getaway just outside of town on the Gunnison River, in walking distance to Garlic Mikes. This was my second stay and it did not disappoint. Clean and modern appliances. A quiet retreat when I visit family.

Great home in a lovely setting

We were very impressed with this home, it's small and mighty! There was literally everything we needed in the home with kitchen items, furniture, bedding, bathroom items and more! The home is very clean and well designed for the set up! We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to stay in a comfortable and quiet location!

Fall Magic

We were in town for an event and had a wonderful stay at this property. The check-in process was so easy and smooth (the door was left open upon on arrival and a key was easily accessible via an outside lock box). We were welcomed with a sweet personalized chalkboard message and treat tray, complete with jerky treats for our dog. The property is absolutely beautiful and nestled along the river at the end of a quite county road. Our dog enjoyed endless hours of frisbee and fetch in the spacious yard, and we enjoyed exploring the whimsical tepee/cabin and other fun items throughout the property. The rental cabin itself was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Fall is a beautiful time to visit as the trees on the property were absolutely stunning. We can't wait to come back again!

Great for dogs & nature lovers!

Gus's cabin is a great property! Big yard with lots of room for dogs to run. Plus access to Gunnison River. Last but not least, the cabin is very nicely done. Everything that you would need with lots of extras which were greatly appreciated. 💐🍬 Thanks again Karah! P.S. The teepee in the backyard is adorable!

Always a great stay!

My husband and I have lived in the Gunnison valley since 1991. He is a master carpenter and I have a "tiny" hair salon on the property. I also teach yoga and DJ on our community radio station. We love the outdoors and just chilling out.

The original house is the "Gunnison stage stop" (cira 1920) the "Getaway "is our newest addition and is part of the original property< WE moved here in 2003 and started creating our DREAM!!
