Fishing Trip

The place was perfect for our fishing trip. Plenty of room to park trucks and boat. Nice fire pit, grill, and fish cleaning table. Close to boat ramp. Great hosts!

The best hosts!

Can’t say enough great things about Brad and Bernie as hosts. Clean and comfortable accommodations combined with regular check-ins and communication - they made us feel like family. This is a GREAT option if you are visiting the Rathbun area to hunt, fish, or just enjoy some of Iowa’s finest outdoors and wilderness areas. 5 stars, highly recommend! We will absolutely stay here again in the future!

Nice clean property

Our adult children with their kids were the ones who stayed there, we were only there for a short time in the morning for breakfast. It was very clean and spacious.

Property and amenities were perfect for us. Huge driveway to keep our boat and truck, fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals, clean beds and linens and gracious hosts. Will come again!

Great lake house

This rental house was perfect it was very clean with a fantastic location within minutes of docks for Rathbun. The host's are great people to rent from. They checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, gave us the fishing report and even gave us great suggestions for local eats! Would highly recommend.

Pick this place

This was our first time visit to Rathbun Lake.We could not have asked for a nicer, more comfortable place to stay. Everything we needed for a week long stay was available. Brad & Bernie checked every day to see if we needed anything and they were very helpful in helping us find our way around the area. We can't imagine anyone being disappointed in staying here. Our property is on a corner lot with a great view and is very peaceful. We only have neighbors on the east side of us. Plenty of parking and lots of lawn area to use. Sit on the front deck and enjoy the breeze coming off the lake!
