We had such a great experience with MaryEllen the host! Pierre is a great person,the property manger! Loved the location and everything about the villa was wonderful! The home is awesome. We loved the backyard pool. Nice location. We like to walk and this was central to town and the ocean. Good kitchen for feeding the family too. Pierre, the local host, was excellent, informative, and responsive. We cant wait to reserve again for '27.

We stayed the second time in this beautiful house and enjoyed everything. The Location of the house is near to everywhere and the private pool is gorgeous!We highly recommend this house up to 6 people, everyone have his own bed- and bathroom and the kitchen is filled up with everything you need.The conversation with the owner and the house manager were perfect and always with a fast response. Thank you MaryEllen and Pierre, we had a great time!

Amazing!!

From start to finish everything was excellent! I will def stay there next time I am in Bonaire. Wonderful host/property management. Beautiful place with fantastic backyard. I highly recommend staying here.

We rented a car at the airport so getting to the property was very easy. Pierre, the property manager was waiting there to give us the keys and show us around. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing vacation this place would not be for you. There's a daycare next door so you have a screaming kids at 7:00 in the morning, The Roosters waking you up at 4:30 and the barking dogs. The house itself is pretty well maintained and clean enough. The beds were comfortable the pillows were not. I stayed for two and a half weeks and was only given one set of linen for each of the bedrooms . The Linens could use an upgrade. We had to buy all our own toilet paper, paper towel , dish soap, hand soap , dish rags , dishcloths basically anything to run a household is not supplied. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. They have a charcoal barbecue I was expecting gas that was an inconvenience to us. The furniture and chairs could use a good cleaning the cushions are very dirty. The house was very hot so we had to leave all the doors and windows open to get ventilation. By doing this we were overtaken by mosquitoes which were very annoying as there were no screens on the windows. The bedrooms had air conditioning and fans which were a blessing. I think the biggest disappointment for us was the pool. It's a beautiful pool but we could not swim in it. There is a family of iguanas living under the pool and they defecated in it daily.

A pleasant stay in a big house with enough space. Nice swimmingpool. There are little things for repair. 15 minutes walk from Kralendijk.

Great Bonaire Property!

Centrally located on the island, near a dive shop that was also very accommodating. Lots of room in the house and yard. Property manager was very helpful and responsive!

Great location and relaxing pool!

The property was beautiful would stay there again. Like any island, there are bugs so just be prepared for that. The house itself could just use a good deep cleaning (sheets had some stains on them) but the bed was comfy - this didn't freak me out too much - so much that I would stay here again for sure.

Hi Petra, Thank you for your kind review. I do take your concerns as valid. The sheets are being replaced this week- stains sneak in with professional laundry as they come back folded. I reminded the cleaners to frequently check them. Turnovers have been very short but we are looking at better ways to clean. Again, thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you again! Great time at Bonaire

We were in this beautiful house with 4 adults, each couple had his own bedroom and bathroom. There is enough space for another couple, which would have his own bathroom too. We really enjoyed the house and the great pool. Thanks again to Pierre, the house manager! You were great!

Beautiful villa

Really beautiful villa with a beautiful garden and a great swimming pool. Wonderful beds, super clean and plenty of nice towels. Because we were in the villa a lot during the first few days, we had some problems with the adjacent daycare center. In the evenings and on weekends it is very quiet and peaceful in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the sea and a little further to the center of Kralendijk.

2 months work in Bonaire

For two months we were able to work and go to school in bonaire. The house was excellent for this purpose; close enough to the coast, the city centre and the hospital to walk, yet quiet enough to sleep and relax at home we loved the green garden the only downside were the mosquitos; bed nets would have been a great extra

Very nice. Great pool.

Lovely property. Pool is excellent. Bedrooms are spacious. Not much for parking. No rinse tanks and storing dive gear is a bit of a pain. Property manager responds instantly on WhatsApp. Kitchen is extremely well setup. No laundry machines accessible to guests. Next door to a day care where seriously the kids scream all day. Overall an excellent property.

Nice location, well maintained property

We (6 people) stayed there for 2 weeks and we were very happy with our stay. It is easy to walk downtown from there (nicer to walk by the water). The backyard with the pool is very nice and well maintained. It is true that there is a kindergarten just beside and children are sometimes crying but as we are divers we were usually not back before 3pm. However I spent a full day resting by the pool and frankly earing children playing did not bother me at all. Communications with the owner or the property manager (Pierre) was easy and efficient. Pierre is very quick to answer any questions you might have. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful property with a lot of potential

We loved the villa and found it was very clean. Although the listing states air in each bedroom two of three barely brought the temperature to 80F. The other room sufficiently cooled for sleeping. Also it’s good to note there is a daycare in the house next door and the kiddos will be active starting around 7am which may bother some. The bathrooms had some issues with drainage and broken shower heads. A matter of bedding more than sheets was also weird. There was enough towels and such but no towels for use in the kitchen although plenty of items to cooks and make food. The ice machine didn’t work in the fridge but we made do. A lack of furniture in the bedrooms had us living out of suitcases and the patio furniture in the living room was a put off as well as stained island stools and an old kitchen table. All of which are easily fixable. It’s a great property for the price but minor fixes could make it amazing. Our property manager was lovely and kind and responsive.

Thank you for the review. Our house was there before the daycare, so unfortunately that is beyond my control. Pierre is available 24/7 to guests. I wish you had mentioned the air conditioning and lack of kitchen towels during your visit and they would have been addressed immediately. The air conditioning technician is there today and it will be fixed. We have reminded cleaning people to leave a few towels out of the drawer they are in. There’s a reservoir in the refrigerator that needs filling regularly to keep the ice and cold water in the door- as a fellow American this was new to me also! The beds have sheets and a thin woven blanket on them as any more would be overwhelming in 90 degree weather. I’m sorry you had a less than ideal experience with us, but hope you liked the island. Comfortable in town villa

We (2 couples) really enjoyed this property, with a few caveats. It’s private, nicely landscaped, and the majority of our time at the house was spent outdoors on the covered porch, in the pool, or under the sun shades on lounge chairs. Pierre was always available to answer any questions and was very helpful. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and the air conditioned bedrooms were great, What didn’t work so well for us was how hot the living area got and the mosquitoes. There are fans in the rooms and plenty of windows to create a cross breeze but we still lost the battle. The 3 bedrooms and bathrooms will easily accommodate 6 people. Because the house is more in town, there will be more noise. Yes, there are babies crying at the daycare next door, dogs barking occasionally, plus the neighborhood rooster. If you’re a city person I would say this is typical. The house could use a bit of maintenance and the grill needs to be replaced but overall it’s a really cool property.

Christmas 2023

Travelling to Bonaire to visit family over Christmas and celebrating a BIG birthday. Property was in the perfect location and was a good size for 6 adults as all bedrooms have en suite. Pool was a good size and was cleaned three times over our stay. Villa was cleaned halfway through too and all towels and linen replaced. Kitchen was so well equiped we managed to cook Christmas Dinner for 12 people!!! Only a short walk or drive into Kralendijk and close to restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Yes its nextdoor to a creche so it can be noisy and toys thrown over but the noise really didnt affect us. We were out most days and it was closed over the Christmas break. Pierre was very responsive when we did have issues in the house and these were sorted fast. Overall a really good find and lovely villa.

Surpassed our expectations!

The property was amazing: Perfect for our group of two couples plus a friend. Mary Ellen and property manager Pierre’s communication was excellent, and when there was a missing item, or special request it was provided quickly. This wonderful house is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, just a short walk from downtown and easy access to many different dive sites. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking gear, and the outdoor dining area is great at night with a charcoal BBQ The pool was maintained while we were there, and the landscapers came to trim the palm trees etc…(very nice landscaping in the backyard with lots of butterflies and birds chirping. Also, the roosters Jeff door make a nice alarm clock in the morning. Also the house is next to a daycare center with the happy sounds of children playing during the daytime We really couldn’t have asked for more, just a wonderful time and they were also happy to send a housekeeping crew to clean and change the linens/towels halfway through our 11 night stay 10/10. We would definitely stay here again!
