My mother and I enjoyed our stay at Abby Silo so much that we're hoping to make it an annual thing! We arrived at night to an automatic porch light which illuminated our very short walk to the silo. We were greeted with a pineapple upside-down cake on the vintage farm table — yummy! There were a few DVDs stocked in the living room, and we watched a couple oft those but now we'll know we could even bring our own if we wanted. The walk-through kitchen was well-stocked with k-cups, half and half, butter spread, jelly, bottled waters, hot cocoa packets, tea, sugar (and substitute), popcorn — plus disposable plates, cups, forks, paper towels, and more. We found the small yet efficient bathroom clean and stocked with bright white towels, shampoo, soap, and a few other necessities. A staircase led up to the loft bedroom which offered a queen bed, a little antique dresser and mirror, among other items. The only issue we had all weekend was the darn prairie wind whipping past our silo abode stirring up unsettling noises at night. Once we realized it was just the wind, we slept well. I highly recommend Abby Silo for an individual or couple who needs a break from the hustle.
