The cabin was tastefully decorated. There were a couple of hiccups but the host, Stacy, handled them perfectly. She was so nice and accommodating. I would love to stay there again.

This stay was my second stay at Country Cabin in Alpine, AL. this year if that says anything. Just like the first stay everything was perfect. We spent a day at Wind Creek Casino which is about a one hour drive away. On another day we went to Talladega Marksmanship Park and the next day we went gold prospecting in Talladega Creek and found several flakes of gold. The best part is how quite it is at the cabin and watching sunrises from the front porch with a cup of hot coffee. For a nice and quite place to recharge the batteries with all the comforts of home it would be hard to top Country Cabin in Alpine, Alabama.

Stacy was very accommodating as well as informative. There was never a moment that she didn’t check on us to see if there was anything we needed. If you are looking for a getaway from home to rewind and just spend time with nature among other things. This place is amazing!

Quiet, Peaceful and Comfortable

The cabin is immaculately kept. Everything you need for a stay is there including plenty of kitchen utensils, toilet paper, paper towels, fast Wi-Fi, good cell phone reception, satellite tv and many other amenities. The best part is the peace and quite. On a calm day you can walk outside and the only thing you hear is your own breathing and maybe a bird. The host was very accommodating and occasionally asked if we needed anything. Communication with the host was excellent. As a side trip we went to the Grist Mill that's only a few minutes away and panned for gold in Talladega Creek. We found several flakes so check that off the bucket list. Do we plan to return? Absolutely yes!

Excellent little cabin!

My husband and I had a wonderful time visiting the cabin. If you are going to be in the Talladega area, I would suggest you stay in Alpine. Family friendly wonderful area!

Husbands birthday weekend get-a-way

Spent Friday-Sunday at the cabin. What an amazing place. Relax on the porch with your coffee in the morning and grill on the back porch for supper. Listen to the radio or the birds, we got to sit and enjoy the rain. Quiet, peaceful, and amazing rustic charm. We can’t wait to come back.

Weekend Trip

Property was just like pictures. Stacy checks in and brought us lighter for fire and even loaned us her binoculars.Cows, deer and megan were all fun to watch. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Relaxing stay

We traveled here with some very unpleasant weather(tornadoes) at the beginning of our trip/stay. Stacy was super understanding and worked with us. The communication was exceptional. She is also on the nearby property, so if we needed help with anything she was able to help.It was very quiet and peaceful out here. My wife and kids enjoyed the fire pit and friendly property dog(loved belly rubs). Sitting out at the fire pit and enjoying the quiet under the starry night sky was relaxing. It's a older farm house, but had everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend this place if you're staying in the area.

Great Place

This is my second time staying here. Stacy, always checks on you to see if you need anything at least twice. The cabin very clean. The sunrises are beautiful. This trip I got to see at least 9 deers. At night you can see all the stars and they are really bright.Thank you again for a wonderful place.

Great cabin and great host

Stacy was an incredible host and made us feel at home from the moment we booked the cabin! We had a great stay and it was a very easy check in/out process. Very clean property with anything you could need. Best VRBO experience I’ve had!Would highly recommend.

My name is Stacy. I was born and raised in Alabama and love country living. I work in the engineering field and love to create and build things (I have a photographic memory and envision anything 3D). I am accomplished artist that I can look at anything and paint it.
Favorite things to do is to spend time family, friends, creating things, cooking, fishing, motorcycle, ATV, tractors, trucks, dogs, horses, chickens, outdoors, good manners, genuine hospitality. FUN FACTS: I am a twin (Tracy). Ha, Ha....Both of us have many degrees and accomplishments. My parents are retired paramedic and nurse and live beside me. I enjoy driving tractor (well it does have AC and radio/cd player in it). I don't mind getting hands dirty to get a job completed. I love to laugh and smiling and enjoying the little things in life.

I fell in love with COUNTRY CABIN because of the home-feeling. I love the view from Front Porch. The listening to all the different sounds from crickets, frogs, owl, hawk, cows, deer, turkey, etc.... There is plenty of room for a good football game or play corn hole or walking in the pasture. The sunrises are gorgeous and the night time skies are filled with stars that look like glitter.
