We had a wonderful time in the Tuscany. This home is well positioned to see wonderful places in the Tuscany. It is a simple holiday home that was decorated with a lot of love. Cate (the host) was always there with great reccomendations on how to experience the region authentically. Great trip!! 100% recommendation from my side.

Stayed at Cate´s apartment August 2023

Beautiful, quiet location with a large, fenced garden, ideal for our two dogs. The apartment was clean and you sleep very well with the window open (all windows have fly screens). Grosseto ca be reached very quickly by car, as can the sea. Cate does a great job as a host and gives her guests an ideal place to relax. Keep it up, thanks Cate!

Perfect and idyllic location in real Tuscany

We have had one of the best summer holidays in Cate and Peter's house in Grosetto. The house is a perfect family getaway. Specially if you have sporty children and an active puppy. The apartment has every single thing needed to make your stay perfect. Our boys loved to come back home after a full day I the marvellous beaches nearby because they wanted to enjoy the volleyball matches that we had, football and basket and Los enjoy the pool. The barbecues at night surrounded by the stars in the cosy garden with twinkling lights and in such a peaceful location are so romantique that we hardly wanted to leave . The whole area is surrounded by nature, olive tress and so nice and friendly people that we wanted to stay there. Cate was an amazing host as she gave us all the information needed and we basically followed her information booklet to visit the most amazing places around. Thank you Cate. We are definitely going back!

VACANZA RELAX

Bellissima esperienza in residenza immersa nel verde . Diversi intrattenimenti presenti in loco ... Durante il nostro soggiorno, al piano terra erano presenti anche i proprietari Cate e Peter , due persone fantastiche , riservate e sempre disponibili per qualsiasi nostra esigenza . Anche il nostro amico a 4 zampe Flipper, ha apprezzato molto!!! CONSIGLIATISSIMO

Appartamento di campagna....

Appartamento di campagna molto spazioso e pulito situato in un posto molto tranquillo . Peccato non avesse un giardino simile alle fotografie che sicuramente risalgono a qualche anno fa dato che che risulta più che trasandato e per niente curato con attrezzature vecchie e sporche (tavoli , sedie , amaca ) , inoltre è praticamente sterrato e non secco come affermato dalla proprietà . Non invoglia certo a mangiare all'aperto o far giocare bambini. Non ne abbiamo usufruito perché spesso risultava sporco di escrementi di cane del vicinato, dato che la proprietà è recintata , ma il cancello grosso non viene mai chiuso .... Non è presente il Wi-fi anche se indicato nell'annuncio e le spiagge più vicine sono a 30min come da navigatore e non a 10/15. Purtroppo quando fa molto caldo ( come nel periodo trascorso da me ) l'appartamento è bollente e non aiutano i 2 ventilatori presenti . Non commento la comunicazione avuta con la proprietà alle mie rimostranze ,per me inadeguata, e consiglierei di aggiornare l'annuncio con immagini attuali per non deludere clienti che pagano per servizi non coerenti con l'annuncio o mai ricevuti.

Location spatieuse bien placée

Une location tres spacieuse et agréable. Elle est tres bien située pour visiter le sud de la Toscane. Cest dommage qu'il n'y ait pas la climatisation car l'été est tres chaud en Italie . Les 2 ventilateurs ne rafraîchissent pas beaucoup la location. Il n'y a pas la Wifi, malgré ce qui est indiqué dans la traduction francaise de la présentation de la location. Nous avons bien profité de la plage qui est environ à 25 minutes et de jolis villages pittoresques.

Vacanze in Maremma

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana per le vacanze estive. Posto molto tranquillo e allo stesso tempo comodo ai vari servizi (10 minuti di auto da Grosseto e circa 30 dalle principali località marine). Proprietà davvero molto disponibile. Vicini di casa ottimi!! Posto ideale per chi come noi ha un cane di grossa taglia (proprietà completamente recintata). Al mattino passeggiate tra i bellissimi paesaggi della Maremma e il pomeriggio relax e spiaggia. Esperienza molto positiva e consigliatissima!!

Einfache Wohnung in super Lage

Wir waren mit der eher einfach eingerichteten Wohnung im 1.OG sehr zufrieden. Tolle, ruhige Lage, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Cate hat sehr schnell geantwortet bzw. angerufen. Achtung, das WLAN (war 7/2021 noch in der deutschen Beschreibung erwähnt) gibt es nicht mehr. Scheinbar wird die Beschreibung nicht regelmäßig upgedated. Wir haben uns für 25 Euro eine Vodafone-SIM Card mit 50 GB im nahe gelegenen Centro Commerciale geholt. Die Kinder waren über die Tischtennisplatte und das Fußballtor hoch erfreut...gerne kommen wir wieder.

Die Ferienwohnung im 1. OG hat Zugang zu einem Garten und liegt strategisch perfekt für Ausflüge zum Maremma Nationalpark, zu vielen kleinen interessanten Städten, den Thermalquellen von Saturnia und wunderbaren Stränden.

Peace and quiet!

Amazing place in the countryside, but very close to Grosseto, only 5/7minutes. If you're looking for a villa surrounded by nature this is the place, and don't forget the fantastic garden where you can have a barbecue. I will be back!

Betrug

Im Angebot waren aufgeführt: Pool, Klimaanlage, TV wobei nichts davon vorhanden war (alter verschimmelter Pool war in Garage). Nach Rekla . bei Vermieter verneinte er einen Pool angegeben zu haben. Wollte 100 € Entschädigung überweisen für fehlenden TV-Gerät, ist aber nicht geschehen. Dafür gab im EG überall Ameisen modrigen Geruch von mangelhafter Reinigung, Man wollte keine Schränke mehr aufmachen. Deutet alles auf einen bewußten Betrug hin, da die falschen Angaben des Vermieter immer noch so augeführt werden und nicht mal einen kleine Entschädigung erfolgte. Wer aus Fehler kein Konsequenzen zieht, betrügt bewußt weiter! Die negative Erfahrung wirft auch ein schlechtes Bild auf fewo direkt.

The place is just perfect if you need to relax and enjoy the quite of the tuscany conutryside.

We had a wonderful vacation ! The house has all you need and the garden with the swimming pool is really nice . You have a lot of beaches easily avalable with the car. Very relaxing place! The owner Cate is extremely helpful and very fast answering . We recommed it!

Nette Ferienwohnung im Herzen der Toskana

Die Unterkunft eignet sich gut um in Tagesausflügen die umliegenden Städte und Dörfer zu erkunden. Nach z.B. Scansano braucht man ca. 45min, nach Siena eine gute Stunde. Die Unterkunft war sauber und für zwei Personen äußerst geräumig. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Auch der Grill und der Pool im Garten laden zu BBQ und Baden ein. Die Anreise war leider etwas komplizierter, da die angegebene Adresse nicht über Google Maps auffindbar war. Die Wegbeschreibung der Gastgeber half allerdings weiter.

Relaxing between the olive trees

We stayed with our 2 kids (aged 2 and 5) for a week in this lovely tuscan countrysite house. Our hosts Kate and Peter and their sons are a laidback family and did everything they could to make us feel at home. They were also very helpful with suggestions for daytrips in the area. The house is situated in a quiet mountainous area with a beautiful view all around. Our children had a lot of fun playing in the garden and swimming pool. It's a perfect place if you like hiking or biking in nature. You can find supermarkets, shops and restaurants in Roselle or Grosseto which is just a short drive away. We would recommend this property to anyone who likes to take a break away the busy daily city life.

즐거웠던 이태리 여행

체크인을 거의 밤 10시가 되어서야 ( 폭풍우) 했는데, 늦은 시간이라고 뭐라 하기는 커녕. 길을 못 찾을까 비 오는 밤 로터리까지 마중을 나와준 피터, 여행 내내 매일 아침, 여행 할 곳을 찾아 주고, 상담해주는 지역 가이드 역할 까지 해주었던 피터, 케이트 부부. 그리고 하루는 아이들도 맡아준다고 부부끼리만 놀러 갔다 오라고 해주고, ( 하루저녁은 정말 아이들 맡기고 우리 부부끼리 저녁을 먹고 오기도 ^^ ) 빨래줄에 걸어 놓은 빨래도 정리 해주기도 하고, ㅎㅎ 암튼 고마웠어요. 피터는 역사를 전공하신 분이시고, 현직 역사 교사 시기도 한데, 그래서 인지 이태리 역사나 이태리 사람들, 문화에 대한 깊은 통찰을 가지고 있기도 하시고, 때문에 저도 피터와 얘기 하며 많은 것을 배우기도 했습니다. 부인인 케이트 역시 수년간의 이민 역사를 가진 분이라 마인드가 오픈, 확고한 개성을 가진 분이고, 따뜻한 마음씨, 그래서 같이 대화하면 기분 좋아지는 분. 집은 깨끗한 편이고, 투스카니 언덕의 외딴 집이므로, 시내 호텔에 비하면 불편할 수도 있음. 하지만, 가격이 싼 편이고, 이 집에서는 제대로 투스카니 자연이 하루에도 몇 번씩, 햇볕을 받아 어떻게색이 오묘히변하는지, 그 아름다움을 제대로 볼 수 있음 . ( 저 같은 경우엔 5월이라 그런지, 저녁에 반딧불이 쫙~ 환상 ) 주변 지역에 잘 안 알려지지 않은 멋있는 관광지, 유적지도 많고, 집주인에게 물어 볼 수 있음. 저 같은 경우에는, 일주일 이 집에 머물며, 로마 이틀, 시에나, 플로렌스까지 들렸다 왔는데, 피사도 아주 가까우나, 아이들 때문에 너무 일정이 빡빡해지는 것 같아, 근처 관광지에 다녀왔는데, 매우 아름다운 곳들. 사람들도 따뜻하고, 친절. 집주인들이랑 하루 바베큐를 해 먹었는데, 이웃에게 받아 왔다는 이태리 야채에 환상적인 솜씨로 고기 구워주신 것도 좋은 기억. 그리고 기타도 잘 치시고, 노래도 잘 하심. ( k pop 씨디 까지 하루는 틀어주셔셔 기억에 남음 ) 어쨋꺼나, 좋은 추억들을 많이 남기게 된 여행. 집 떠나면 고생인 것이, 여행인지라, 모든 것이 퍼펙트 했다 말 하긴 그렇지만, 특별히 나쁜 것도, 불편한 것도 없었다. 아이들과 더불어 좋은 추억을 남길 수 있었던 여행이라 , 집을 빌려주신 이 부부꼐 감사합니다.

Experienced Tuscany in it's purest form!!

With my 2 children we were guest in this lovely Tuscany House. The appartment was cool and very comfortable and clean.The swimming pool was heaven! Shops and Beach closeby. The family organised BBQ's in the typical Italian style together with live music. We could bring our Pet, this was great for my children. We felt welcome in every way! The house is located on a beautiful spot with a stunning view! I go back there with the children and would recommend it to everybody that appreciates Tuscany in it's purest form!

I'm Australian and my husband is Dutch. We moved to Italy from Australia with our 2 children. Our friends thought we were mad but we felt compelled to follow our dream. I don't regret it one bit, I'm not saying it wasn't hard moving countries, it was and still is a struggle at times but we love our life now, we love Southern Tuscany and the natural beauty of the Maremma. This area has so much to offer and is such a great central location. It is right in the countryside but so close to the many beaches available in this area: Marina di Grosseto, Castiglione della Pescaia, Principina, the beaches in the Alberese National Park . I love Saturnia Thermal Hot Springs, it's a little piece of heaven just sitting there in all it's glory. You can relax or you can go out to any of the many 'Sagras' throughout the summer that Italians love to host. Eat, drink, dance and try the local cruisine and entertainment for a very reasonable price.
We speak italian and love the warmth of the italian people. A conversation with an italian is a breath of fresh air, it's a free theatrical performance and it's everywhere!
Take a short drive through the picturescue hills to visit the village of Scansano, famous for it's wine. Then if you keep driving you will come to the Saturnia hot springs.
I'm learning to cook Italian food and I'm getting pretty good at it now. I can make a good Ragu, Lasagna, Eggplant parmigiana, fresh pesto Yum!!!
The boys love soccer and they've learnt a lot being in Italy. Hard core! they picked up the language so fast and I was really jealous, it took me a lot longer!
Me and my family love sharing this place with others .We meet so many interesting people from so many different countries.

We bought this property because of the location. It is immersed in beauty but it is so close to everything. We looked at so many properties with a common theme: they were beautiful but just too far from everything. When we found this house we felt like we had struck gold. It's just so beautiful, the changing colours of the landscape throughout the day. The variety and richness in the seasons, I never get sick of looking at it. You wake up in the morning to this little piece of Serenity. I love it!

What amazed me about this house was the gorgeous views from every room in the house, even the bathroom. (One day I will put a bath in there. Aahh ,Heaven.......) we thought it was paradise.
The only reason we saw this house was because we had just enrolled the boys in a school in Istia D'Ombrone and we thought we would take a drive around the area afterwards. We came across a small sign saying in Italian. 'For sale by owner' with a phone number we immediately rang them and the rest is history.....
Best decision of our lives.
