Great stay in Watersound

This home was great and easily accommodated our group of friends/families for spring break. The property was close to Bruno's pizza, which was convenient for any last minute meals when needed. The golf cart and bikes that were provided were very helpful when carting guests to the beach, pool, or playground. Any issues we experienced during our stay were handled quickly by maintenance. We did learn that WaterSound only allows 3 vehicle passes for this property, and any additional vehicles must be stowed in overflow parking outside the WaterSound entrance. We also learned that the passes included with this home only allow certain pool and cart path access. This wasn't an issue, just something we discovered when attempting to visit certain areas of the WaterSound community. Overall it was a great stay and we'd definitely consider renting again. We love the privacy, safety and fewer crowds while staying in WaterSound. Wonderful community.

Tired Property

Overall great stay in a wonderful house/location. A few issues made this a 3.5-4.0 star stay. Check In process was not “as advertised” and Watersound Security was frustrating to deal with — the emailed QR code didn’t work 3 of 5 days. 2nd floor (main sleeping area) A/C unit was inop on arrival. Pool heating was intermittent and only worked <2 of 5 days — had to make several calls to restore pool heating. Property thermostats restricted to 72 degrees — was not mentioned in description. Overall the property seems tired. It needs a refresh (LR shag rug, bed linen, pressure washing, [leaking] coffee maker, obnoxious intermittent door locks, etc.). It wouldn’t take much to avoid guest frustration with having to “adult” during what is supposed to be a turnkey vacation. RealJoy [property management] was very easy to work with via phone and text—just really wish I didn’t have to be constantly engaged with them to resolve issues.

Wonderful place for family

We enjoyed our fourth Thanksgiving in Watersound and this property did not disappoint. Wonderful layout for extended family and having the carriage house is a definite bonus. The heated pool was wonderful for our grandchildren to work on their swimming skills. The alarms on the pool doors provided an added protection for us. Loved having a golf cart too!

RealJoy Vacations is AWFUL

RealJoy Vacations are terrible to deal with. They would not consider a refund during March of 2020 when the covid pandemic had everyone on lockdown. Most terrible customer service I've ever had. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

Watersound

This home is beautiful and was perfect for our family of 12, 8 adults and 4 children. The house is setup so that there are many spaces to spread out if needed. We were thankful there was a gold cart included to get all of us back and forth to the beach. We had a wonderful time!

Wonderful!

Beautiful rental with all the amenities. Plenty of room for our large family. Kitchen was fully stocked with Thermador appliances which made cooking easy. Ice machine was a plus! We would definitely rent again. The only negative would be the golf cart was very rusty and the bikes were older.

Great location and house layout, lots of maintenance issues

Great house for large families with lots of age ranges. Great therapy/plunge pool & spa. Great neighborhood with nice amenities. However, we had multiple maintenance issues that continually interrupted our stay requiring maintenance people to be in and out of the house. It also requires constant communication with the property manager which, although helpful when contacted, often required a lengthy hold before getting anyone. Made for a frustrating week...

Gorgeous place- great for family

Very very responsive property agency-surpassing 360blue. House was beautiful and tons of space. Separate entrances for multiple families on different floors. Golf cart made it a 20sec rude to the beach. We will go back!

Family Vacation

We booked this property for an extended family vacation that included 6 children and 6 adults. The property was perfect and RealJoy was easy to work with. The property had everything we needed for our large family. We will for sure book again.

Wonderful home

This is our second year visiting The Nautilus. We love the home and location. Plenty of space for a large family on a week vacation. The kitchen is stocked very well with items needed. The golf cart is such a great addition as well as plenty of bikes.

LOVED this home!

We adored every detail of this home! From the huge gathering space on the main level with those gorgeous ceilings to the master suite, tower, golf cart, fountain and plunge pool! There was plenty of space to either gather or spread out during our stay. In love with this place, thank you for sharing!

LOVED this home

What an incredible home! A lot of thought went into the design of all the spaces, the details throughout were amazing. We loved everything from the fabulous master suite, tower, unbelievably spacious spot to gather on the main level, golf cart, plunge pool and fountain. Expansive beach escape with spaces for all

The Nautilus is well-designed for a multi-family escape. The open kitchen allows for large meal prep (two dishwashers) at the same time the rest of the family enjoys the living room and fabulous doors that open onto the porch. The kids loved the pool and the loft bunk beds! (Parents appreciate the safety features). The multiple levels and comfortable areas scattered throughout provide spaces for many people to escape including a tower! The little things have been taken care of. We'll be back!

Beautiful home and resort. We loved our stay and comfortably fit 7 people.

The Home exceeded our expectations! It’s a stunning home. Beautifully decorated. Wonderfully equipped with everything that you need. We miss it!! The community is wonderful and exactly what we were looking for. We will be staying here again and again. The golf cart that is provided was a lifesaver. I am in love with the entire home but my personal favorite was the master bath. The soaking tub was great.
