David’s place was perfect for a weekend watching our son’s baseball team. The house was conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed to relax in between games.

Annual road trip with my son

Had a terrific week visiting historic sites and then being able to return “home “ to good ol’ 3825 Mitchell Ave. every night. The place was perfect. David has thought of everything and was a kind and gracious host. My son and I have a new set of memories, and our stay here contributed greatly.

Mr. Sandy was a delightful host and very helpful as well as easy to communicate with. The property was very clean and very nicely decorated. I would definitely stay there again or in any of his other properties. I have family that travels often to the area and would definitely recommend.

Perfect Location

Our stay at this property was perfect while we visited family in the area. Located right off the beltway with easy access to the highway. The property had everything we needed and was nicely decorated. The host was easily reached if we had any questions. We will stay here or at another of David’s properties next time we are in town!

You can't go wrong in a property from David. Make sure to read about what to expect from your stay, and if that is what you are looking for, you will definitely enjoy the super clean home with all the well thought out details. This home had great location, perfect size and all we needed for our weekend in St. Joseph.

Very nice place to be!

We enjoyed having a cute and spacious home to come home to each evening! Enjoyed the patio, watching the bunnies and squirrels play while having a beverage. David was so pleasant and easygoing. Really enjoyed all our interactions. Perfect for our visit to the Missouri Star Quilt company!

Great Get-A-Way in St. Joseph

David was a wonderful host. He greeted us upon check-in with an introduction to the property’s features and checked back with us the next day to ensure everything was as expected. The property was perfect for our stay in St. Joseph. The house was clean and well maintained. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back this way.

St Joseph Lodging is a extension of Sandy Investment Properties, LLC. David Sandy has owned and maintained wonderful residential rentals in St. Joseph for over three decades. It all started with his purchase of one duplex, and then over the next few years, quickly grew to multiple properties on the northeast and east sides of St. Joseph. He’s never used a third-party property manager or management company. On the contrary, he believes that no one else will take care of his properties with the attention for detail like he does himself.

In 2017, David slowly began converting some of his properties to short-term, furnished corporate rentals. The emphasis he insists on includes cleanliness, comfort, and convenience for his guests. He enjoys meeting and hosting visitors to St. Joseph, whether they’re here for business, family or vacation.

On a side note, David is also a professional magician and entertainment producer. He has traveled the world entertaining people and producing shows for resorts, conventions, cruise ships, theme parks, etc. He'll be glad to teach you an incredible magic trick during your stay!
