Great cabin

My husband and I took our 4 kids to Wisconsin for a weekend getaway. The weather wasn’t ideal but the cabin was great. It was big and spacious and the kids loved playing foosball and pool. The water frontage was great; however, it was too chilly to enjoy it. The place was clean and spacious and we all really enjoyed it. The area was quiet too. The place looks like it would be perfect in the summer.

Beautiful cabin!

We shared the cabin with a few families while attending a local hockey tournament! Beautiful cabin, clean, cozy & easy to navigate check in/check out process! Would highly recommend!

Family Vacation

Property was spacious enough for our whole family. We enjoyed the whole Up North feel from the log cabin to the wonderful outdoor property. Very peaceful spot on a beautiful lake. Were able to rent a pontoon boat at a nearby marina.

Park-like setting

The property is like your own private park with outstanding views. Great deck seating up and downstairs, and the fire pit warmed us nightly. Indoors has everything, with a GREAT fireplace upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen.

Beautiful log cabin home

What a beautiful lakeside log cabin home! An easy 10 minute drive to Eagle River with an immediate easy access to Catfish Lake, we enjoyed the convenience of our place while we golfed, kayaked and dined in the area. The place was impeccably clean (no small feat given the contours and surface area of a log cabin design), spacious and impressively furnished. The furniture in the large living spaces was exceptional, with plenty of seating for a large group. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Bathrooms had plenty of towels. While we were a small group of two couples, we were all impressed with the design and comfort of this grand home. A large group would absolutely appreciate a stay here. I highly recommend this vacation home.

Island View Lodge

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lodge was beautiful, our family had so much fun. The only issue I had was for a high end rental, the kitchen was a let down, I cooked a Thanksgiving meal and the oven was horrible, and I should have brought my sharp knives from home and some other kitchen gadgets.

Great Getaway Spot

Getting in and contacting management when needed were very efficient and prompt! This is an absolutely gorgeous space. Couldn't have imagined a more beautiful house and yard. Just to note: there were some ants in the house, and the patio/outside furniture and swingset were very dirty. It would have been great to have them wiped down before our arrival, just a suggestion! Otherwise, very great experience!

Dayton stay

Only thing negative is there were very limited pots and pans. Plenty of lids but only 1 skillet. For a home that sleeps sixteen not sufficient. Not a single wine glass. Kitchen could use a restocking.

Eagle River Chain of Lakes

The lodge was clean and property well maintained. The kitchen was large and had two usable tables and 4 seats at the bar. The kitchen was poorly stocked for large groups that cook. The property comfortably sleeps 13 maximum. The upstairs of the lodge has a very steep incline/decline staircase which is not safe for children or physically challenged individuals. Catfish lake is a great swimming and fishing lake. The property has a nice dock to park a boat and misc. water toys. We enjoyed the fire pit and the patio tables and chairs were well maintained. Great location and lake!

Great place that hasn't been updated in years

It's a great property. Hard to go wrong here, but they haven't updated anything, literally anything (maybe towels?) since we stayed here last time a few years ago. They have the same gas weber grill that took some real work to get going. Burners didn'twant to burn. Clogged mess. It's not like it needs much of an update, most stuff lasts for years. Pots and pans, blankets, etc. But the grill. Oh man.. Buy a new grill please.

Fantastic property for larger group

Needing a larger property for a snowmobile trip that could offer sleeping for 11, this place delivered. Great to have 3 full bathrooms, a pool table and other games available to enjoy. Cooking for a large group was a cinch with all the cookware and utensils you could want. I would like to have the property owners do a little touch up on a couple items. There was a broken loose tile in the main bathroom shower. Some of the kitchen cabinets were in need of some attention as well with loose knobs and not closing properly. Overall not a deal breaker and I would not hesitate to rent here again!

Relaxing family location on the lake

Well furnished! Comfortable/plentiful seating/sleeping accommodations. Indoor & outdoor recreational activities were great - with kids enjoying immensely. We did have to wash a number of kitchen items prior to using, as they were notably dirty/sticky. We tried to use the dishwasher, but it would not close/lock in order to run, so we ended up having to do a lot of dishwashing by hand in single sink all week. Washer & dryer were great. WiFi was slow and TV reception not great, but didn't watch much as we spend majority of time outdoors. Very quiet allowing us to hear the lake loons - a real bonus! No neighbors home until final day, when they arrived with a barking dog whenever we were outside. Fire pit was also a real nice experience. Overall, a very enjoyable week!

Amazing Rental Home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Island View Lodge was the perfect winter get-a-way for our family! The home gorgeous, very clean and offers every thing you could ask for in a vacation rental. We have rented lots of homes and you just never know what to expect. This place was exactly as advertised which we SO appreciated. We loved all the wood floors, northwoods furniture and giant logs in the home. The kids really enjoyed playing foosball and the adults used the pool table every night. Super easy access to the snowmobile trail system and plenty of parking. The place was great, but what made it perfect was the service. Josh from Conger Collection was very responsive and provided excellent communication. We called a few times with questions and he took care of everything very quickly. We even had an app to use that had house and town info - that was a first and pretty cool! Highly recommend this rental home - worth every penny. We'll definitely be back!
