Enjoy our newly constructed home on Upper Buckatabon (New in 2023). The Home construction was completed in the summer of 2023. Our family has been vacationing in the North Woods for decades, renting so many amazing properties. Now we've built our own homes to enjoy and share with you.

2023 Montego Bay 22 Foot Fish & Cruise Deluxe Pontoon with 115hp Suzuki 4-Stroke Engine, Fish Finder and Live Well (2 Live Wells) Available for Rent - Boat is Onsite and All You Have to do is Replace the Gas! The pontoon rental rate is $1,275.00 plus 5.5% tax ($1,345.13 total) for the week.



Upper Buckatabon is part of a 2 lake chain with 871 acres of full rec fun. Upper Buckatabon is a very clean lake known for great fishing but also provides for great watersports. The boat landing is just across the bay so bring your boat, rent our brand new pontoon or both and get ready for a great stay. The 2 lake chain also offers gas available for sale on the lake and 2 restaurants that can be accessed by boat. The permanent dock has a separate swim/fishing dock as well as a boat dock with space for our pontoon as well as 2 spots for your boats. The property has a Railing on the Steps to the Lake



The house is only 11 miles to Eagle River and the property offers great privacy with 250 feet of lake frontage

Our overall experience has been pleasant and excellent. Everything was there as advertised and using the pontoon boat was a great addition. Keep in mind that there is no fuel to fill up the tanks for the pontoon on the lake, which is not a big deal since a gas station is 15 minutes away. Communication with Steve has been excellent. The location on the lake is excellent. It’s peaceful and quiet. It’s a great house on a great location.

The house was beautiful, very clean, with lots of common space for our larger group. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to cook with and plenty of dishes! (Bring your own salt/pepper and spices, they don't have those for food safety reasons.) The bedrooms were spacious and pretty quiet from the rest of the space. Books and coloring stuff for kids too. The dock was wonderful. We rented the pontoon and still had space for jet skis at the dock. We also used the canoe and paddle boards that available. The lake has a couple shallow areas, but easy to avoid and we still had a great time with water activities! The driveway has plenty of park and space for trailers. Communication with the owner was easy and quick! He was resistive and helped us with all questions. We would highly recommend and hopefully with find a week to go back in the future!

Our stay on Lake Buckatabon was wonderful. The place was very accommodating for 10 people. Very fresh and clean. Lots amenities to use. Kitchen had all the necessities and beyond.

Family Summer Vacation

Our stay at the Overlook Bay Home was excellent. The host was very helpful and responsive. The home was beautiful and perfect for our family. Everything was clean and well cared for. The pontoon boat worked out great for our family.

This is a beautiful new house on a gorgeous lake. Kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed. We had a family of 11 doing our annual family reunion trip upnorth, and this was a great house to get together to make memories in. There were two bedrooms on the lowest level, which was great for a family member with mobility issues. The other family member that has mobility issues did get up to the main floor, and then got to use the beautiful main floor suite with walk in shower. We LOVED having two full size fridges in the house, and the convenience of being able to rent a pontoon boat directly from the property owner, versus having to do that separately. My youngest son wished there would have been less lilly pads in the swimming area, but maybe in the future there might be less of those. The location is pretty peaceful and the lake is nice and quiet. We boated to two bars/restaurants on the lakes and had a great time. We hope to come back in the future.

Family Fun

We booked our first ever family vacation with children & grandkids and it was perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and the welcoming atmosphere of the home. Attention to detail was evident everywhere and the well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. There was room to spread out on the main level and in the game room below. It never felt crowded. The area was secluded and providing a great spot for our vacation. We spent our days enjoying the spectacular water access and water toys provided which was ideal for all kinds of activities. Whether we were fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, or swimming, the lake offered something for everyone in our group. The pontoon rental was a fantastic addition, giving us the freedom to explore the lake and take in everything the lake had to offer. It exceeded our expectations, provided the perfect place for relaxation and adventure, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
