Everything was great with the location, dock on the water. Available kayaks and life vests and paddles. Cleanliness definitely could’ve been better, lots of spiderwebs all throughout.

Wonderful place to stay for a little family get away. The room with the bunk beds was kind of small but we made it work. Only 30 minutes from Watkins Glen so day trips were easy. The lake was a little murky though but a few days it was clear enough to get into.

Great location

The property is gorgeous and the area was very quiet and relaxing. Perfect location on the lake and close to a plethora of vineyards, distilleries, breweries, and cideries. Watkins Glen is a close drive from the house. Plenty of wildlife in the area.

Watkins Glen

The location on the lake was terrific, and the house was clean. The bedrooms were small and the mattresses were on the soft side. My biggest complaint was that the price per night stated is only half of the total bill. You need to be aware of the fees charged as they doubled the total amount. The fees or clearly stated.

Fun at the lake

We loved the house, right on the lake. Very clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen, and bedrooms were just as advertised. Sitting outside by the water was just so relaxing. The view from inside the house is almost as good as sitting outside. Would definitely recommend this house!!!

Birthday Weekend trip

This home was beautiful and exactly as pictured online. The lake view was perfect and the proximity to local wineries, restaurants, and the neary boat launch was great. The house was very clean, updated, and had that perfect cozy lake house feeling. The fire pit, kayaks, and dining table on the dock were nice perks, too! The upstairs beds were okay, but might be a little uncomfortable for a longer stay. Our biggest complaint was that in the listing it states that the use of the boat dock is dependent on the water level at the time of your stay, but we found out from the neighbor that we were unable to use it per the owner's request. This would have been extremely helpful to know beforehand as we brought a boat and had to scramble to find alternative parking for the weekend. I assume that is a generic statement about all properties that have a boat dock, but this should definitely be made clear in the listing that you are not allowed to use it. This was an extra cost that we were not expecting. Overall, a great house and great stay!

Great Location

Nice property, and great location to wineries, breweries, hiking, and shopping. There are four kayaks, life jackets, a new decent sized gas grill and a great fire pit. The check in was a little late and departure early. Lots of ants in house, even despite the many ant traps. All good needed to be refrigerated due to this. Penn Yan is a must do along with the Spotted Duck creamery. So fun!

Making this spot an annual trip for sure!

We have nothing but great things to stay about this place! Clean, cozy, and cute! It had everything we would need for a long weekend trip, right on the clean and beautiful Seneca Lake, next door to a winery (that you can also kayak too), 15-20 minutes from other wineries and the grocery store, and the rental property was very communicative. It really is a perfect getaway enjoyed by the adults and kids and a place we’d like to visit yearly. We actually checked upcoming available dates while there – we already miss the place!

Perfect place to stay at Seneca

This property was the perfect experience for staying in the finger lakes. It had everything we needed - perfect lake front views in and outside the house, a fire pit, a grill, kayaks, a fully stocked kitchen, and more. The location is perfect, within 20 minutes of about 20 places to visit. You can even kayak or walk to the nearest winery, Miles Wine Cellars. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect

The property was beautiful and the cottage was immaculate! Two families with 4 kids, aged 7-11, and it was perfect. We all loved kayaking, sitting by the fire, skipping rocks in the lake and watching the wildlife.

Don’t drink the water

After a week of drinking the tap water, I found a small sign saying iit was lake water and not suitable for drinking. That should have been at the very TOP of the check in procedures if not a signed disclosure. I read every word of each document they sent and their was no mention of polluted drinking water. Management gave little consideration to my family’s health and I do not appreciate it. They took the time to frame a little sign at each sink warning us to be conscientious of their fragile septic and I was. I expect the same consideration.

Great weekender

Great property directly on the water in a nice proximity to wineries. Area had a bit of a septic tank smell outside and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned well. Overall would stay again, thanks!

Great Lakefront property

This was a beautiful property and it's proximity to the lake was wonderful. We were able to wake up in the morning and have coffee out on the table at the end of the pier or out on the patio just outside of the kitchen. We did have quite a few ants in the kitchen when we arrived that I believe the owner was aware of as there were ant traps laid out. The house on the whole, however was clean and tidy and as bug-free as one could expect in a house in the woods. The beds we're comfortable and all of the furniture was in good shape. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a Finger lakes getaway!
