We stayed here over Labor Day weekend while visiting with family up in Ganoga/Ricketts Glen area 15 minutes away. This cute little house had everything we could imagine needing. There is a private stone driveway to park on. Bedding, towels, blankets, soap, dish detergent, paper towels, plates, utensils, pots/pans, microwave, Keurig with coffee, toaster, hotplate range, (and an induction cooker thing we didn't try) were all provided. Having stayed at other VRBOs, we brought "too much" as we've never stayed at a place that included so much. It was immaculate and everything felt new! The bed was extremely comfortable and kids slept well on the double bed sized futon. Kitchen table opened out to seat the four of us nicely. Owner provided a kitchen stocked with milk, juice, pastries, coffee pods, and a couple bottled waters/sodas. We have never stayed at a VRBO that did this, and it was better than most hotels! Then, like a magic fairy, more coffee pods and clean towels appeared on our doorstep while we were away during the day. The washer and dryer came in handy. This house is quiet, dark, and peaceful. I think one car passed by each night we stayed there. It is off the highway and does not include loud neighbors, traffic, nor opens out onto a large cement parking lot adjacent to 7 other units. The air conditioning units were nice the first night, after that it got cool and we slept with the windows open instead. Plenty of nature/night sounds outside. Great for stargazing, this place would be ideal for a meteor shower night! The fire ring was a nice touch though we didn't use it, just sat there gazing at the night sky in the dark. Two outside chairs provided; we brought two more as there were four of us. Owner was extremely responsive to emails/texts with questions, and very helpful overall. The finishing touch was a little vase of live flowers on the kitchen windowsill when we arrived. Thank you for a lovely weekend. We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. We definitely recommend this home, and would stay again if we return to the area.
