Fantastic Fam Favorite

We really enjoyed our stay at this super clean beautiful lake home. The location was perfect for us being less than an hour from Athens since we were here for graduation festivities. Loved having access to the lake, the bikes and really enjoyed the screened in porch. This place is super clean! The beds are incredibly comfortable and you have all you need. The open floor plan downstairs was perfect for us! Thank you for being an awesome host!

Lake Oconee Ladies Retreat

College friends are the best! And even better when together in a relaxing comfortable location. House was perfect. Hostess included all needed amenities and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well stocked and deck was perfect for lounging. Thanks for the hospitality.

Fabulous lake getaway

The home is beautiful and very well appointed. We travelled with our kids and our dogs. More than ample space for everyone, peaceful neighborhood, great for a quite relaxing getaway.

Stayed for masters tournament and it was perfect location for golf at Oconee as well as travel to Augusta. Host was A+ and house was perfect. Highly recommend

Family Lake Trip

Excellent location and deep water for kayaking and swimming. The cove is very quiet and relaxing. We rented wave runners and the marina is just around the corner from the house. Perfect layout for a family vacation. Highly recommended.

Fun Sister's Weekend

We had an amazing time. We used the kayaks, the stand up paddle board, the fire pit and rented E bikes. The house was well stocked and very clean. The host answered any questions I had quickly. The neighborhood is beautiful and the views of the lake while sitting outside on the patios was relaxing. I recommend this house for your next vacation.

Charming and convenient

This property is beautifully updated and well situated on the lake. The beds and furnishings are very comfortable. The outdoor space is well thought out. The deck is large with outdoor tables for enjoying meals and easy access to the dock. The home is in Reynolds Landing which is a great location on Lake Oconee and a short drive to Publix.

Fun Times at Lake Oconee

We had a wonderful family vacation at Lake Oconee! Anchor Retreat is nicely furnished and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay for our family of 8. Golf and boat rental were both very convenient. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit.

Family weekend

Beautiful lake views and neighborhood. Convenient to everything. Outside of house could use a sprucing up but overall the house is great. Perfect size for our family.

In July 2015, we stayed at the Ritz Carlton on Lake Oconee to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. We were so impressed with the beauty of the lake, the easy drive from Atlanta and the amazing food we knew we were in love! We have always dreamed of owning our own little piece of the lake and in July 2017, our dreams came true when we closed on Anchor Retreat! We are very excited to make family memories for years to come and are so happy that other families can enjoy Anchor Retreat as much as we do!

Anchor Retreat is located a mile from the “Ritz Gate” of Reynolds Lake Oconee and very convenient to The Ritz Carlton Lodge and its award-winning Ritz Carlton Lodge/Reynolds Lake Oconee (which was named one of the Top 5 Spas in the United States by Conde Naste Traveler Magazine).
