Perfect!

This was our second stay at this house (first being in 2022) and we loved it just as much this time around. The kayaks and paddle board are icing on the cake, our boys were able to take off on their own since the house is on a quiet inlet.

Relaxing lakefront getaway

Our group of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our Fathers Day weekend getaway at Anchor Retreat! The house has been though fully stocked with everything you need for a comfortable vacation. We loved having access to the paddle board and kayaks and it was so easy to paddle around the quiet cove that this lovely house sits on. The location is very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, drug stores, and marina’s for boat rental. The communication is excellent, with every question quickly replied to by the property manager. I highly recommend this house and will definitely be back!

Stayed for masters tournament and it was perfect location for golf at Oconee as well as travel to Augusta. Host was A+ and house was perfect. Highly recommend

Fantastic Fam Favorite

We really enjoyed our stay at this super clean beautiful lake home. The location was perfect for us being less than an hour from Athens since we were here for graduation festivities. Loved having access to the lake, the bikes and really enjoyed the screened in porch. This place is super clean! The beds are incredibly comfortable and you have all you need. The open floor plan downstairs was perfect for us! Thank you for being an awesome host!

Lake Oconee Ladies Retreat

College friends are the best! And even better when together in a relaxing comfortable location. House was perfect. Hostess included all needed amenities and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well stocked and deck was perfect for lounging. Thanks for the hospitality.

Fabulous lake getaway

The home is beautiful and very well appointed. We travelled with our kids and our dogs. More than ample space for everyone, peaceful neighborhood, great for a quite relaxing getaway.

In July 2015, we stayed at the Ritz Carlton on Lake Oconee to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. We were so impressed with the beauty of the lake, the easy drive from Atlanta and the amazing food we knew we were in love! We have always dreamed of owning our own little piece of the lake and in July 2017, our dreams came true when we closed on Anchor Retreat! We are very excited to make family memories for years to come and are so happy that other families can enjoy Anchor Retreat as much as we do!

Anchor Retreat is located a mile from the “Ritz Gate” of Reynolds Lake Oconee and very convenient to The Ritz Carlton Lodge and its award-winning Ritz Carlton Lodge/Reynolds Lake Oconee (which was named one of the Top 5 Spas in the United States by Conde Naste Traveler Magazine). Dine within Reynolds at The Overlook at Great Waters (views of Lake Oconee), The Plantation Grille (views of the Plantation Course), Linger Longer Bar and Grill (Oconee Club House), and the Ritz Carlton, which features three restaurants: the newly renovated Georgia's Bistro, the resort-casual Linger Longer Steakhouse dining and casual dining at Gaby's By The Lake.
