Check in was easy and the caretaker gave us a quick tour and answered. Parking is nearby about a 5 minute walk.

En plein milieu et calme quand meme. Super endroit!

Hormis quelques petites choses (ampoules cassées ou vacillantes, problème de moisissure dans la salle de bain, fenêtre de la chambre qui ne pouvait pas être fermée, aspirateur un peu peu appétissant car encore humide à l'intérieur), c'était la maison de vacances idéale. . Le propriétaire et le concierge ont fait de leur mieux pour résoudre un problème survenu dans les meilleurs délais. Si vous souhaitez être au milieu de l'agitation d'une petite ville provençale animée, tout en souhaitant le calme et la tranquillité, cet appartement est idéal pour vous. Globalement recommandé!

A great place in great location

We have stayed in many properties in Uzes and this one is a gem. Loved everything about it - clean, light, spacious, with wonderful views. We were worried about the lack of air conditioning but there are so many windows and the property is three floors up so the ventilation kept it cool. The only disappointing feature is the ‘shower’ which isn’t one which you can stand under! A minor complaint, and everything else was superb!

Grand appartement très propre et calme avec confort moderne, situé près des commerces et restaurants.On est vraiment au centre historique du pittoresque Uzès. Uzès est bien situé pour découvrir la région! Attention: dans la description c'est noté place parking. Par contre le parking n'est pas compris en tout parking est payant. On devrait fournir 'un pass semaine'.(= seul bémol). On a passé une belle semaine d'été dans cet appartement bien aménagé et joliment décoré. Bien qu'on est en plein centre ville on n'a pas de bruit ni de la rue ni des voisins. On conseille vivement cet appartement!

Quirky apartment in heart of Uzes.

Given the central location , the apartment was a veritable oasis of calm. However the lighting left a lot to be desired , with many overhead fittings not working. The Wi Fi and cable television were out of action , as was the washing machine. Overall impression was the place was tired and needed some serious maintenance.

We loved our stay at this gorgeous flat in the heart of Uzès

A truly beautiful, quiet and private spot in the historic center of the city, just steps to the Place aux Herbes. We arrived the night before market day, and could not believe that the apartment was so quiet the next morning, while the busy market day was going on right outside. We were also greeted with a bottle of local rosé, which was very thoughtful. The apartment is clean and beautiful, with view from one window of the Duchy chateau, and views over historic rooftops in every direction. It is so comfortable, with beautiful decor. We slept so well, too! We would stay here again in a second. Only recommendations to owner are two. First, to make a specific note in listing that the kitchen has no oven. We didn't realize it, and adapted our cooking for the stovetop, but other guests might wish to know that. Second, perhaps provide more information about check-in time and process well in advance. I received a text with information from the property manager the day before, but it was a chance that I received it, because I only used my phone on wifi. The manager, Guillaume, was terrific - very lovely and helpful to us, and responded to text when we had questions right away. But might help other guests with their planning to know in advance, or thru the homeaway app just in case. Thank you for a beautiful stay. We will never forget Uzès!

Appartement charmant très bien situé

Tout à été refait à neuf dans ce joli appartement sous les toits d'un magnifique immeuble. Prestations de qualité, calme et propreté. L'atout principal reste la situation exceptionnelle de la location, en plein centre de la vieille ville d'Uzes, tout près de la place du marché et des cafés.

Bonjour! My name is Olivier. I hope to have you soon stay in my apartment in Uzès.
I grew up in the South of France, a few miles away from the beautiful city of Uzès. After working a little over 5 years in Paris, I am now based in New York where I live with my wife. My passions include travels, old cars from the 60s and 70s, photography and pretty much everything that involves food and good wine!

The space

The first thing you'll notice when entering Le Dampmartin is how calm and quiet the apartment is, while being located right in the center of Uzès.
The second thing you'll notice is the light and the magnificent view of Le Duche d'Uzès.
From then on, you can relax and enjoy the relaxing living room area. Look at the view, read one of the complimentary magazines at your disposal, watch cable television with international channels, and/or enjoy the complimentary bottle of wine we sourced from a local producer.
The alcove kitchen is fully equiped with coffee machine, water boiler, microwave, ceramic hob and dishwasher.
Bathroom includes a full bathtub, toilets and a washing machine.
Bedroom is comprised of a queen bed and lots of closet space for your personal effects.

Guest access

The apartment is located on the top floor (3rd floor with no elevator) of a historical building in the heart of the city.
