We enjoyed our stay in the kitchen cottage. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and well maintained with everything we needed for our short stay. Courtyard was lovely. Location was excellent. Appreciated the extra touches like snacks and juice. Stairs are narrow and curved as pictured but we managed well. Bed was very comfortable. WiFi was a bit spotty but adequate for what we needed. Would definitely stay again.

The cottage was so cozy and inviting with a lovely courtyard space. The building was a former kitchen that has been renovated into an apartment while keeping the historic charm. The location is spectacular - quiet, walkable and the owners are very responsive. I’ll definitely stay here on my next visit to Charleston.

It’s a cute & cozy cottage. We loved hearing the history of the property. We enjoyed our stay and loved that we could easily walk anywhere downtown in a few minutes.

Delightful Cottage

Loved our stay! Quiet, cool, relaxing! Interior staircase could be an issue if one is not able-bodied, but exterior stairs are straightforward and a good way to bring in overnight bags. Lovely, cozy space to relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping. We parked our vehicle, utilizing provided parking permits, and walked everywhere we wanted to go. Perfect location south of Broad!! Definitely recommend!!

Historic gem in perfect location!

We are lovers of historic properties. The Middletons' was absolutely that. It was comfortable, quiet, and very private. We loved the garden area. Perfect location to explore Charleston. We had a wonderful time. One suggestion is the bathroom could use some TLC.

Perfect location

Very cute carriage house. Absolutely perfect location to walk everywhere!!! Nice patio with fountain. Steps up to bedroom are a bit dicey but all in all a great spot!!

Charleston History

Perfect Location

We planned a last minute trip to Charleston and were able to book this cozy cottage in the most perfect location! We were able to walk everywhere, restaurants on East Bay, the Battery and City Market. The bed was so comfortable and the courtyard was perfect for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. The petite kitchen was suitable for a light breakfast just make sure you have patience while using the stove. Would definitely book again! Thanks for a great visit!

1st visit to Charleston

We very much enjoyed our stay at the historic cottage which was both quaint and cozy. The bed was comfortable, the tiny kitchen perfect for making a light breakfast. Historic Charleston sights are within easy walking distance.

Charming Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the French Quarter. I would definitely recommend staying here. Our host was great and communication was excellent as well. I highly recommend this rental!
