great place and great location

worked perfectly for the 6 of us. great to be able to walk to west wall and get on lift each morning and ski home at end of day. house had everything we needed for cooking in some nights.

Family trip

Our trip was incredible, as always!! This has been our favorite place so far, especially because of the lift proximity. The bedroom with the bunk beds was a total hit for the kids! Very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds and having our own bathrooms was amazing!! We’ll definitely be back!

Loved it!

We come to CB severalTimes a year and will definitely book hawks nest 4 again! It was so convenient and so well stocked. Made staying with a family of 6 so easy!

Was so nice to walk across the street to the West Wall lift. Made lunch breaks and end of the day skiing so much easier.

Beautiful views and short walk to ski slopes

We lived our stay! The house had incredible views and we were within walking distance to the ski slopes. The house was large enough for our entire family, well spread out and very comfortable. The only issue we had was the bunk beds. Clearance was tight with three queen beds stacked. Tough for teens to fit and they hit their heads. Besides that there was plenty of parking and the management company made checking in and out easy.

AMAZING!!! Charming and ideal location!

Oh my goodness!!! We had such a great time. This townhome is ideal for a family that skiis! Although I don’t hit the slopes, it was awesome that my family could easily come and go! I had lunch and hot chocolate ready for them which warmed them up during their breaks. So fun! Everything in this home is top notch! Nice sized bedrooms and en-suite baths as well as a welcoming family area! Game/Movie Nights are a must! Or...a glass of wine while you watch the sunset is perfect, too! At night, it was so easy to go into town to grab dinner and shop or if you prefer to cook, the kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dishware! The heated 2 car garage is a huge bonus and the town shuttle is just across the street! We can’t wait to go back!!!

Owner's don't respect your privacy

To start, I will say that this property is in a great location for skiing (essentially ski-in/ski-out) and is very well appointed. There is a great bunk room for the kids and all bedrooms have an attached bath which was really nice. Our trip would have been fantastic had the property owner had any respect for our privacy. On our second day at the property, the homeowner decided to allow someone to enter the property to swap out cars without our consent or prior notification. This was especially frustrating because it was done while we were out skiing. We called Peak Property Management to complain which should have resolved the situation, but then later in the evening, the homeowner once again allowed someone to enter the property through the garage without consent or prior notification. This was especially concerning because we had several young children playing in the basement at the time. Do to the homeowner's blatant lack of respect of their guests' privacy and lack of adherence to the rental agreement, I would not recommend this property to anyone. In full disclosure, after what seemed like way too much arguing with the property management company, the homeowner did refund one night's stay, but unfortunately ruined what was shaping up to be an amazing trip.

Great place, so convenient to the slopes.

Just like the pictures, everything was great. So convenient to the slopes, right across the street. Crested Butte is adorable, we had a great time.

Awesome views and great location

We had a great stay in Crested Butte. The condo was perfect for us. The location was beautiful with easy access to the slopes. Keyless entry would have been a nice plus.(not having to go to the property managers place to check in and check out, and then keep up with the 2 keys between 5 of us). Also the altitude is over 9000 feet and that was actually a problem for a few of us. But the details were accurate and we lacked for nothing while we were there. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazingly beautiful property

The location is absolutely wonderful for an active skiing family! You are just steps from the lift, and you have amazing views off every balcony. The house was extremely well appointed with everything you would need to stay in and enjoy a meal with your family. Loved the large living area that provided ample space to place games, gather in the kitchen and even just watch movies. The house was super clean, updated, and extremely comfortable. You can tell the owner really cares about your comfort as they had beer and wine in the fridge for when we arrived, she just ask that we restock what we take. We will definitely rent again!!!

Wonderful property with many ammenities

Location, location, location! First time in Crested Butte, and we couldn't have asked for a better property to spend five days skiing and enjoying the town. The property is feet from West Wall lift so getting two families geared up and out the door could not have been easier. So convenient, we were even able to ski back for lunch a couple of days which we typically don't do. While we rented cars for the drive in, the stop for public transit was just outside the front door making trips to Elk Street or the base area quick and easy. This property really does have it all. Large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, high end appliances in the kitchen, excellent audio video throughout, and the list goes on. The kitchen and great room are open and easily accommodated all 8 at the dining table with additional bar seating--perfect set up to engage everyone while cooking dinner, watching TV and playing games (there was a cabinet filled with games). We typically ski at least once/year with 8+, and I think this is the first time the kitchen had everything we needed-- pretty much everything you would expect in your own home. The property is well maintained with amazing views and a great set up for ski and boot storage, hanging space for helmets, jackets and gloves, and a bench to get ready. Instructions from the owners and property management company were straight forward and reasonable. A few unexpected perks-- the heated 2 car garage, big laundry room and radiant heat--the temperature was always cozy vs. many ski condos we have stayed in that are hard to get all the rooms just right. I would recommend this property to my closest friends and family. Our 15 year old daughter commented "favorite ski trip ever"! We will definitely be back!
