The entire thing! The bunker is cozy and warm, perfect size , I was alone. Anything I needed was already there!!! Even coffee which was perfect as I’m a caffeine addict , it allowed me to relax with a cup of coffee after my drive , before running for few groceries!! The host is wonderful!! She is attentive and responds to any questions quickly!!

This is a very small, cozy, clean, and well stocked place to stay. Because everything was well stocked and clean I didn't need to contact the owner, but she checked in to make sure all was well which was a nice touch. The views were great and the accommodations were very comfortable. We had a great stay. Great host!

I was in the area for a quick trip to the national park. The price and proximity sold me! The bunker was small (as advertised) but met all my needs and was very clean.The Keurig pods and park pass were great touches and nothing compares to the sunsets! Would definitely book again. Thank you!

Pelee Island Getaway and Bunker by the Bay

Great location - half way between Point Pelee National Park and the Leamington ferry that goes to Point Pelee Island. Very clean, tidy and functional space.Beautiful sunsets and very responsive and host.

Amazing couples getaway!

Great great place! No complaints at all. Comfy bed, nice kitchen ware, clean bathroom, great AC. Right down road from Point Pelee. Got to sit on main dock as no other guests were there. Recommending to all my friends for couples getaway!!

The name of this property says it all. It is a perfect couples getaway. It was super cosy with high end finishes. Our host Gabriella was fantastic! Quick to respond and very friendly. The property had a fire pit and the sunsets were incredible. The area boasts the port pelee provincial park and within a short drive there is an abundance of wineries and breweries to visit. We had an amazingly perfect weekend away!

Escape from responsibility

Such a cute little cottage that I wish was my own, to escape to, far enough from the town to feel away, but close enough for everything you need. SUPER comfy bed, good heating system, tankless hot water, cozy couch, lacking nothing.

3 Great Days by the Bay

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 days. Accommodation was beautifully appointed and equipped with everything you could imagine, There was a spectacular view of the bay especially at sunset. Gabriella was very accommodating and very accessible. We would not hesitate to stay there again and strongly recommend Sunset by the Bay or The Bunker by the Bay.

Cozy Bunker

We had a wonderful stay at Bunker by the Bay. It is perfect size for a couple. It has all the amenities that you require for a lovely getaway. It is a short distance to Pelee Provincial park as well as the ferry to Pelee Island. Remember to check in the little shed they have cornhole! The backyard overlooks the beautiful Lake Erie, there's a fire pit and a barbecue with picnic tables for your use. It looks exactly like the pictures you will not be disappointed!!

Peaceful retreat

Property is on the smaller side but it served the purpose of our stay perfectly. The view of the lake from the kitchen made for some wonderful views , especially as the sun was setting / rising, we had a few really late nights so the usual 10am checkout was looking like a tall task and our host Gabriella was so kind to let us stay well after our expected check out. 10/10 experience!

A truly wonderful, comfortable and convenient place to stay during our visit to the area.

A magnificent location ... wonderful view of the lake with easy access to Point Pelee National Park and the wine route. The many items that were provided with the Bunker by the Bay made it much easier to plan, pack and travel. Definitely worth a return visit in the future :)

I purchased my first rental in 2017. I have always enjoyed being near and in the water. When I purchased my first property I knew I needed to share it with others. That lead to the first rental, Sunsets by the Bay. After a year of meeting some wonderful people, I purchased my second property. I continue to grow my portfolio by managing others lakefront properties.

I love hearing what brings guests into Leamington, and helping them to choose some adventures while they're in town.

Cute and comfortable are the words that come to mind when I think of the Bunker. It's the perfect step up for an individual or couple that prefer to avoid a hotel stay. It's close enough to the lake that you catch the most perfect sunset, and still have privacy from the house on the property.
