It was mostly a lovely experience, great space and location. 4/5 because of a cockroach issue (killed two), had to have the pool cleaned after we arrived, broken toilet paper handle that wasn’t fixed and lack of certain necessary items for us to properly stay incl trash bags.

Perfect Home Base for Vacation

Great property and great location. We loved everything about our stay. The close proximity to the bike trail is a highlight for sure. The beach is a short walk or bike ride away. Centrally located, with all of the Sea Pines highlights within a reasonable bike ride. Biking to Salty Dog, Harbour Town, Sea Pines Center, and the beach are all easily done. The pool is a good size and the screened in eating area is excellent. If you’re the type to stay busy on vacation, this is the perfect home base for your adventures. We loved the personal touches in the house that make this feel like your own home away from home. Very relaxing area to get the true Sea Pines experience, with lots of mature trees providing an excellent canopy. As always, Vacasa made this an easy process compared to others we’ve used. 5 stars all around!

Fun Getaway

We loved our long weekend here! Pool was perfect for the kids while mom and dad worked remotely. Loved the proximity to the beach and bike paths. Would stay here again.

Beautiful home and great location

This home has it all. Privacy of well insulated and spacious bedrooms. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and plenty of dishes and utensils. There are several seating options throughout the home. The beach access (25) is 0.4 miles from driveway to our spot on the beach. Large closets, Jack and Jill sinks, skylights in several rooms, and the pool was regularly cleaned by professional staff. We look forward to reserving this same home again with our next trip to HHI!

Enjoyed My Stay - Cozy Home

This home has a great floor plan and is ideal for small or large groups. Living room is very inviting and nice space for everyone to hang out in. Kitchen also great, lots of seating & spacious. Each bedroom has its own bath. I would definitely stay here again. I hit one snag during my stay, the pool wasn't able to be heated as requested so we didn't get to enjoy. Vacasa refunded a portion of the stay and offered discount on future stay which I have since booked again with them.

Good location.

Nice location within Sea Pines. Easy access to beach, South Beach and Harbor Town. Home could use some updating (drains clogged, fans not attached to ceilings properly, overall dated). Beware if you have animal allergies, as the home surfaces (carpets, couches) definitely have pet dander on them and can cause irritation. Nice kitchen with all you need to cook at home and internet was solid for remote work.

Ocean Escape

The condition of the house as displayed on the web was starkly different compared with the current condition of the house. A detailed review has been submitted to the management firm (Vacasa, Inc.). We were very dissatisfied with the condition of the house during our stay.

Terrific house with a terrific location in Sea Pines

I hope we have the opportunity to rent this house again. We enjoyed our stay immensely as the house was conveniently located close to the beach and the bike path. We were impressed with the kitchen and how well stocked it was with plates, utensils, and any small appliance you could need. I could also tell that the owners had continued to update the house. The kitchen layout and appliances were newer, and you could tell that the pool and the area behind the house had been updated recently. The owners were also in the process of adding a gazebo next to the pool. That will be a great touch when completed. Vacasa also left a positive impression on us. This was my first time renting from them in the Hilton Head area and I was impressed with their customer service.

Great location, poorly managed

We loved the close location of the bike path and the beach. The house is beautiful but has a lot of deferred maintenance—appliances, pool deck doesn’t drain, bathroom sinks don’t drain. Cleaning service missed a lot of cobwebs and the trash from previous guest was strewn around the service area. I reported the trash, a problem with the pool filter, and an empty propane tank to the property manager on the 2nd and 4th day of our visit and received a response back that said they would get all 3 fixed. I said the drain, cobwebs, and appliances could wait until we left. None of the items were fixed. The pool service came while we were packing the car to leave at the end of our trip. It’s a shame because I know that the property management costs the owners a pretty penny.

Lovely home 8 min walk from the beach

Lovely home as described with private pool. The check in process was difficult as my elderly parents who were meeting us picked up the "packet" for parking in the community which was located off property. We arrived after them from a flight and the gate attendant would not let us pass to get into the community even with the proof of rental and my ID to get in. Then my parents had to drive to meet us to get the passes. I understand security, but it was a hassle after a long flight then drive to get there. Also, upon entering the home, I found hair in the shower, a wet wash cloth on the floor, and some dead bugs in the hallway that were not cleaned. Also, 2 bathroom sinks were clogged. For a lovely spacious home, I expected that it would be cleaned very thoroughly. I messaged management a couple times during the visit and they did respond promptly. Overall, the private pool and walk to the beach was lovely and proximity to nice restaurants and grocery stores was a benefit. FYI, I was able to drop off my parents and daughter close to the walking path to the beach, drive back to the home, then walk to meet them without difficulty.

Great location, Nice home, Not-so-helpful Property Management Company

This house was great for our family of 3 plus the in-laws. Great location, nice pool, spacious, and very large rooms. Beautiful kitchen!! The Property Management company didn't manage the property very well, and I hope the Owners read this and do something about it for future renters! When we arrived, trash was thrown about the yard because an animal had gotten into the multiple trash bags that were left in the gated trash area. While we called to let them know, it still wasn't picked up for another 2 days, and of course animals got into it again, throwing more trash about the yard. The pool area was beautiful, but again, not kept up. Leaves and tree debris all over the patio and in the pool. Thankfully, there was a working hose, so we cleaned it all off, and got the debris out of the pool. The hot tub wasn't warm at all, but made for a great "small pool" for my little one. Pool towels would have been a nice touch, as the bath towels seemed old/dingy, and weren't really big enough to use as a pool towel. The coffee maker didn't work, and while one was delivered three days later (at 10:30am), the customer service on this alone was horrid. I made 5 phone calls to the property management company because they kept making promise after promise - including calling me back - and never followed through - NOT ONCE. I spent hours on hold/on the phone with different representatives. At some point, I was told "I am cooking dinner so I can't help you now." I was also told that "nobody works in Hilton Head on a Sunday." I was promised (again) that I would have a working coffee maker BY 9am the next morning. That same representative then told me how the calls I had made were showing up in their system, but they were entered incorrectly. Every time - really?! Not sure how every representative I spoke to entered it wrong, but he said he could see a trail of a big mess, and apologized. I was then told that someone would be calling to apologize and to "compensate" us because of how the trash and coffee maker were handled. No call. The coffee maker came at 10:30am, when we were walking out for the beach on our last day. Unfortunately, the house doesn't make up for the VERY poor customer service. For the sake of anyone who uses Vacasa, buyer beware.

Gutters overflowing with leaves and water dripping from the rain. Actually have small tress sprouting up. Hard to enjoy while patio needed a good pressure wash months ago.. The big kitchen an dining room was beautiful. Found waterbugs in each room. Even one come out of the water drain in shower. The 10min walk to the beach was nice. The beach was beautiful and lots of great dining places all around and convenient.

Great kitchen and location

We enjoyed our stay in this house- favorite parts being the large open kitchen, well maintained pool, and short walk/ride to the beach (less than half a mile!) The bike path directly behind the house makes it not as private while in the backyard, but it didn’t bother us. We enjoyed using the well-stocked kitchen, grilling dinner, and slept comfortably.

Great house for a get away.

Elevated Relaxation in Hilton Head

This house is exceptionally laid out, well maintained and wants for nothing. It has everything one could possibly need and is ideally located to explore Hilton Head. There is a trail right off the house that slowly takes you to a nearby beach. The dipping pool in the backyard is perfect for cooling down.

Spacious kitchen and easy walk/ride to the beach

Really nice home. Well furnished and decorated. All bedrooms had attached bathrooms and linen were provided. there is lots of light in the house from skylights in different rooms. The kitchen is well stocked with essential crockery, pots, pans and silverware. The pool is nice, a bit small and there is a whirlpool spa as well. The house was well cleaned before we got there. We had a really nice time here, although we did find couple of small roaches in the back. Vacasa told us this was there across the island now. But other than that, we had a great experience

Nice getaway!

This house was very clean inside. Someone forgot to take out the trash which was no big deal. There was a little trash in the yard again no big deal. Here’s what we enjoyed. We loved the big kitchen, quiet neighborhood and the private pool! It was a short walk to the beach but I wish there were instructions or a map telling us how to get there. We ended up asking helpful residents. It would be nice to have access to using the bikes there or information on renting bikes or even a cart to carry our stuff to the beach. But overall we were very happy with our experience! Especially now where people are looking for a secluded getaway, this house is a perfect choice!

Nice Family Vacation

Great house for our family of five. The living area is spacious - especially the kitchen! The house could use a little updating, but it was comfortable, We enjoyed the pool after a few hours at the beach which is a 10 minute walk or quick bike ride. The bike path run behind the house which was convenient.

Beautiful but...

Got a call at 4PM the day before we were to leave saying our original reservation had to be canceled for roof repairs. Was offered to pick a different rental and chose this one. Beautiful house! Can’t lay out by the pool though...no chairs or sun because of all the trees around it. AC went out the first night and was miserable. Vacasa did get someone there the next morning to fix it though. Neighbors complained because we had the outside lights on past 9PM...really?!? Yard maintenance and pool maintenance people coming and going all day Friday. Oh and we got there at around 2:30pm, was told house wasn’t ready yet and they would call. By 5:00 they still hadn’t called so we went on in. Thought that was rude that no one called to let us know when it was ready.
