Tuttle Farm was very nice—clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and easy to find. Communication with the host was excellent and very prompt. We stayed with our two dogs and appreciated that the property had a dog run and tie-outs available. We didn’t have a chance to explore the trails on the farm, but we did locate the river access down the road. For nearby outdoor activities, we highly recommend hiking at Holly River State Park and strolling the boardwalk at Lover’s Lane in Webster Springs.A few tips for future guests:•This home is in the Appalachian area of WV, where dining and entertainment options are limited—expect at least an hour’s drive. We did enjoy our meal at The Hilltop Restaurant in Cowen.•There is a small grocery store in Webster Sprinds, which was very convenient.•Cell service (we use Verizon) is very poor in this area, so make sure to write down your door code before arriving and a paper map if helpful. Once inside, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house, especially for those looking for a quiet getaway.
