Marco Island Vacation Properties does a great job in managing their owners. The unit was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen was well appointed. The situation with the usage of the three keys and codes was interesting but you eventually understand it. The pool was not heated enough, which was disappointing. Otherwise, our stay was very enjoyable.

Spring Break 2023

We had an amazing stay in this condo. It looks newly remodeled and beautiful. Gorgeous views of the property and the gulf shoreline. Well equipped kitchen and linens. Nice parking garage. It’s a long walk down to beach but well worth it. Only suggestion would be a nice more comfortable couch in living area.

The beds were comfortable, which was important to us. Lots of beach gear to choose from. An extra roll of TP would’ve been appreciated, but otherwise it was nice. Pros: location to the beach.10 minute walk to the beach to catch the sunset. and close to playground at tiger tail beach. view of the sunset from patio. stunning view from the patio if you chose to hang out there. comfortable beds, updated unit, warm poolCons: lots of keys & codes to manage.i didn’t have one for the gate btwn bldgs 2&3 so kind people let us in when they saw me struggling.uncomfortable couch, wasn’t an option for sleeping on if you had another guest visit. shades in bedrooms let in too much light. in the morning the kids room was full sun by 7am and in the evening our room was full sun. pulling down the shades didn’t help so an option to completely blackout the room would be nice, especially for the kids. nightstand in kids room was wobbly.needed to fixed or thrown out, but made me nervous with kids and a glass lamp on it.patio furniture could be improved. a table for eating would be nice. condo building itself had a lot of odd rules. no balls in the pool or food, but pool noodles and alcohol was allowed? didn’t make much sense to us. Motion sensor lights in the bathrooms & closet was annoying at 3am if you got up, you got blinded. Would be nice to turn that off as an option.

Thanksgiving 2020 Stay

The condo is beautiful. Well decorated and has most everything you’ll need for the week. Condo was in need of some painting, it was clearly a little worn (but much better than the 2 other units our friends stayed in). The beach wagon, cooler, beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels were a big key to fun at the beach. A wagon is a must, because the walk to the shore is looooonnnng. There are a ton of rules at the pool and they have a not very friendly person there strictly enforcing them (we were in pool on second day and there were 2 others there with us. Pool attendant was not having it that our 16 and 12 year old could have any fun in the pool). After day 2 we never went back to the pool. They make a big deal out of registering guests, we had 2 different family members visit us for an afternoon, fwiw the guard shack never stopped them... For the price, I would rent here again. If you want ease of water access or a little bit of pool activity, consider other options.

Furniture from IKEA was cheap and falling apart. Good thing we only had 4 persons in our party, impossible to sleep 6 in the unit as advertised. The sleeper/sofa was actually a small futon that could not comfortably sleep one person. Lacking in linens/toiletries/basic cleaning supplies/cooking utensils. Fitness room equipment non-functional during our stay. Felt more like a stay at a Motel 6 than a stay at a quality complex.

Summer 21’ Family Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has been updated so probably better than most units in this development . Rug under table was stained badly and could use a cleaning or to be replaced. While the beach is gorgeous- it’s a haul to get to the shoreline. Once they update the entire property- this would be more desirable. Everyone around the pool complained about the staff that would not let you keep a drink alcoholic or non on the side of the pool ,no toys or balls for kids in pool. Hard to relax with all the drama of people being told no and reprimanded over an over again. We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and villas- expected more for our money but we made the most of it and enjoyed our family time together.

Beware of south seas towers

Having stayed all over florida this was by far the most disappointing vacation we have taken. I feel like I need another just to be able to relax. The trek just to the beach is ridiculous. The pictures definitely don’t do the distance any justice. Maybe they should have shuttle service. A community laundry facility with a whole 2 washers and dryers per floor was bad, since most people just leave their stuff in the machines. And basically feeling like janitor for the whole week by carrying a bunch of keys. The security is great and all but cmon get key cards or something a little more universal. Marco was ok, we probably won’t be back and definitely will not be staying at south seas if we ever do.

Awesome spring break!

Amazing views of Tigertail Beach and gorgeous view of the sunset each night! The entire complex was so clean and updated and all of the staff we encountered were so helpful and friendly. We’ll be back for sure!

Beautiful Views- Cleanliness-So So

The views from the balcony were absolutely breathtaking! The furnishings are VERY modern and sleek. (chairs at table not very comfortable). The major issue is the cleaning company hired for in between guest arrivals. The showers had not been cleaned there was sand on the couch, fingerprints on the counters/table and the toilets had ovbiously not been cleaned. Unfortnately the bed linens had not been changed either. Very disappointed upon arrival, but the property manager did respond immediately and sent another cleaning crew over to take care of the issues. Upon return, it was perfect. Too bad it was not that way upon check in. The gym was closed due to construction. The condo is in building 3 overlooking the pool between 3 and 4 building. Unfortunately the echos from anyone speaking at the pool or other condos bounced off the buildings and became irritating when sitting on the balcony outside. We will definitely ensure our next condo at this property is facing the beach and not overlooking the pool side. Too much noise at times. Especially when other renters are not so in tune with the fact there are others enjoying the property as well. Many seemed to think they were the only ones out on their balcony. Overall we love Marco Island. Love the property, but not crazy about the condo itself. We will choose a different unit/location next time we come to Marco Island.
