Great location. We were in town for The Race of Gentlemen. We could hear the races and the streets were filled with classic cars and motorcycles and the sounds of rock and roll music. Weather was perfect. We all Loved Wildwoods and will definitely be back!!!!

Price is right for the location

After speaking with the host, they were able to get us in the house 2 hours earlier to check in (from 6pm). The location of the house is spot on: close to the beach, boardwalk, convention center, ice cream & mini golfing. As for the house itself…. Upon arrival we found the floors to be sandy, dirty sheets put on the bed (bring your own) and dirty pans in the cupboards (still had caked on food). There wasn’t much storage/dressers to store your clothes in, in the upstairs bedroom with ocean view balcony and queen bed. We made it work but a dresser would be great. Despite its flaws, our family of 10 still had a great week’s vacation. We also enjoyed the front porch and top balcony sitting.

Late season Wildwood

The location of this property is unbeatable. Having a house on the beach even during the off-season was excellent for our group. The linens on the beds were fresh. We really appreciated the location. The smart locks were perfect for our large group and the ability to check in earlier than planned was appreciated. The whole house Wi-Fi and central air system worked great as well. The view from both front porch’s was breathtaking And the access to parking was valuable.

Last trip before school

House was great fit the entire family. It was in a very convenient location right at the beginning of everything. The host was very responsive and detailed. We would definitely rent again!

Close to Everything

My family had a great time! This single beach house is centrally located and provided all that we needed for a great beach experience.The decor isn’t posh which is fine with us.We didn’t have to worry about kids breaking anything.The best part is the sweet location.Ya can’t beat it.

Good and a great time

The stay was great, it was dirty when we got there but we cleaned it up. There was ants and bugs when we got there. But overall we had great weekend and the landlord was nice.

Great Location

We stayed here for a cheer competition. So close to the convention center! We walked with all our gear. Within walking distance to several places to eat. Spacious and plenty of sleeping room.

Great place and convenient location

We rented this house for a friends weekend. It had everything we needed and was convenient to the beach and shops. We really loved the porch and sitting outside.

Cleanliness wasn’t great floors dirty, shower had long black hairs in it when we arrived The listing showed 3 queen beds - in fact was one queen and 2 doubles and one the springs were coming through Kitchen not really equipped to cook much and not many utensils only small 4 cup coffee maker for house that sleeps 14! Outdoor shower was only one with pressure and upstairs shower would spray the entire bathroom Location is amazing even though beach is wide it’s so close Front porch and deck lovely to sit on with great ocean breeze Owner responsive to messages

Beach week

We are regular beach travellers and would rate this ocean front home as one of the nicest, best-located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, and had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy walk to the beach a d all the sites.

Large and spacious

The property was perfect for our needs. Spacious enough for multiple families. Check in was a breeze and property owner was great at communicating. Downfall was at complete end of boardwalk but you know that going into renting. Would stay again.

Needs TLC

Great location for our needs. The property is in need of some serious TLC. In particular the bathrooms are in terrible shape. Showers leaking, and roof was a bit as well in laundry room during heavy rains.

Complete disappointment in this property

We arrived to a home not sufficiently cleaned to start of stay standards. We came to find the floor of downstairs bathroom soaking wet, the sink leaking and the shower constantly dripping. Most disappointing and unacceptable was the water from outside pouring into the house from the front bay window, soaking the floors and our footwear, as well as coming through the door of the upstairs queen bedroom soaking the floor and our luggage. Every door and window was drafty and whistling with wind and cold air the entire day and night. The one zone of heat had one level of the house too hot and the other level too cold, leaving nowhere in the home acceptably comfortable, especially in the winter. And finally, the bunk beds, which we counted on as usable sleeping spaces, were so unsafe, wobbly and rickety and even had bars taped together?!?!? So people had to sleep on hard couches.. Finally, the upstairs bathroom (which was the only "usuable" bathroom) has mold on the ceiling, the tub enclosure is disgusting, the water knob is installed backwards so my young daughter almost burned herself. Additionally the plumbing is so poor that if someone in the house used water, the shower either got scalding hot or freezing cold. We contacted the owner through Vrbo messages with no response. Then someone called the cell number provided on the reservation. They said they would refund 50 percent and then stopped answering. So no 50 Perct refund nor the refundable deposit was even refunded. At this point we are beyond upset and feel that the listing was completely inaccurate. And the fact that communication has completely stopped on their end and nothing has been done to rectify this is a disgrace and tells me that they are more than aware of this issues within this property.

False Advertising

When arrived at the home we discovered the air conditioning was not working. We immediately contacted the owner. We were told, “no no, everything will be fine. We had someone out there yesterday to fix it.” Well we dealt with having no AC for hottest week of the summer. On the last full day there, an entire HVAC crew invaded the vacation home. They were there to replace the entire system. We were never asked if this okay. While working, one worker accidentally put his foot through the ceiling. Work like this normally take a day and half with no one in the home. We had 6 adults and 4 small children. We had enough and called the police since we as tenants have rights. Workers and owners were asked to leave the property which they all did peacefully. Cleanliness of the home was unacceptable. We encountered the cleaning person at Checkin. Odd, but she was friendly. However, cleaning skills need work. Dirty bathrooms, dirty kitchen, dirty footprints on the wall, dirty floors. We disputed this with the owner when they showed up unexpectedly Sunday morning. While waiting for another HVAC worker, the owner cleaned the living room floor. Black water was emptied from the bissell vacuum cleaner 3 times. This vacation should have been a relaxing wonderful memory. Instead it will be a learning experience. In closing, chose another vacation home through another agency. Try contacting your vacation destinations welcome centers.

Location is about all it has

We reserved this property, called a "Luxurious property" for its location. Here are the positives: the top deck, location to the boardwalk and beaches and ice cream shops. This house should be removed until it's owners are made to fix up and clean this house. It is disgusting. First of all, when I booked the place, check in was 4 pm. As I paid the last payment it was moved to 6 pm. We did not get a full 7 days. My husband and I spent our first full day deep cleaning the best we could. The floors made our feet black, the showers leak, the windows are dirty, the blinds and fans are extremely dirty, the bunk beds are broken and our teens couldn't sleep in them-one of our girls got bruised from a spring coming through the mattresses-here is a compiled list: *Grill Doesn’t work and it’s rusty and full of burnt food *Blinds in master broken and missing *Dusty in every room *Bathrooms less than par *Bunk beds insufficient for 4 teens *Roach traps behind head board in master *Sand in beds *door of one room won’t close. *railings, bathrooms and porch have lots of mildew and mold *railing of inside stairs is *all sticky *clothes iron leaks *floor is disgusting *window is broken in bunk room *tub paint is peeling *upstairs shower leaks all over the floor. *we mopped, dusted, cleaned all the ceiling fans and fans, scrubbed the showers and sinks *spring on mattress bruised one of our children *no trash can in downstairs bathroom. *cooktop infighter button continues to click when the other burners are turned on. *back right burner does not ignite without large flames. *deck furniture is subpar I contacted the owner right after we found some issues with no response at all. I waited all week to hear from them. Nothing to this day. I have email via VBRO messages that the grill worked, it did not. I have pictures of every problem and will be reporting to VRBO again. I am still waiting for a response.

Amazing location. The BEST spot in my opinion. Weather was perfect and the house was exactly as advertised. Minor issues were addressed and corrected in a timely manner. Will be booking again when we head to the beach again.

Awesome Time Definitely Worth It!

Me and my friends had a great time. There was plenty of room for everyone in the house. Plenty of space it also doesn’t really me too. on the listing but there is also a great outdoor shower and lots of room in there too. There is so much parking. Will be staying again next year.

I love ocean and love to spend summer mornings and evenings near the shore, and love having some great ocean views from my house. I like sunsets, sunrises, long walks on boardwalks; especially love early morning walks, and bicycle trips with my family and making life long memories. I would like my guests to have similar experiences and memories with their families at the comfort of the house.

I have been to many beaches, however, wildwood beach gives me both action and privacy which is quite unique. I can go biking on the sirene wildwood bike area or go walk on boardwalk where you get to explore somany fun activities.
