Beware of driveway

Dented our rental car. There’s a dip and pot hole at the end of the driveway, even if you’re going slow it can still happen. Mentioned to host but they completely ignored our message about it. There is NO A/C luckily it was quite cool when we went. There is access to the water but Host does not provide any water activities. It’s use at your own risk as the tides come in and out daily. We bought inflatable boats from Walmart which worked great, the ocean at this particular spot is very sheltered. We did not venture far. Otherwise lovely stay, and host was accommodating in giving us laundry detergent for our 5 day stay. Beautiful views.

Beautiful place to stay and convenient location

Everything was very beautifully decorated and comfortable. The beds were great and the shower was awesome. Having a washer/dryer was also a great convenience. We had a beautiful view and were close to Halifax - an easy drive in. We were also able to drive to some of the other scenic hot spots-Peggy's Cove, the Bay of Funny, Lunenberg- all within 1 to 1 1/2 hours. I highly recommend the property and the area!

Weekend with the girls

Very beautiful home and elegantly decorated. All beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped. our favorite spot was the little alcove seating area, we spent all our time there sitting and laughing. Great walking trails not far away. Holly was easy to contact and responded very quickly. We would book this home again.

Exceptional Property

This was the perfect place for my elderly mother and young dog to stay. The decor was spectacular, location amazing with so many unique places to walk to and explore. Neighbours were very friendly. We were completely at home. LOVED IT! and will definitely be booking again. Thank you Holly!

Fabulous...stunning views and comfy cozy. Will definitely return.

Our experience is a 10! Very well organized and impressive. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Beautifully appointed and the views were so serene and relaxing. Very comfortable. An extra bathroom and a TV in the master would have been nice ..but didn't deter from our wonderful experience. We just got home. Surgery went well but will be a long recovery. The 4 of us have every intention on returning again this year ...if you'll have us? Thanks so much Holly!

Many wonderful things about this property

While there are many wonderful things about this property and location, the air quality was a little challenging especially for those with allergies. Musty smell each time entering. It needs regular airing out. It may have been shut up for awhile.

Nicely equipped and great location

This is a really cute property about 20 minutes outside the Halifax city centre. It has all your basic creature comforts, and although there’s no A/C there are magnificent breezes to keep things cool. Great little dock at the foot of the property where my son caught mackerel on the second-last night of our stay, but no lawn chairs, to get creative for seating.. The community itself is very quiet and pretty, and the internet works well. Only thing I would have loved was an outdoor grill or BBQ, but the kitchen is nice, and we ate very well. I’d really recommend this place — love the neat decor and the views are great. Beds are all comfy and there’s room for lots of people. I’d stay here again.

Fantastic property on the Halifax Harbour. Have always loved boating and being close to the beaches, hiking trails, and nature, but yet only 10 minutes to the city.

Unique custom stone turret . Gorgeous feeling to this home on the water with hardwood throughout. Fine mahogany furnishings and wonderful pictures, and paintings. 2 fireplaces to enjoy on a cold winter evening. Private dock on the water. Very close to Crystal Crescent beach and Chocolate Lake.
