We're glad you enjoyed your stay. My wife and I cook almost everything from scratch and she's a vegetarian so we often make 2 different meals so we have to have a well stocked kitchen. Our location I believe gets the sand from the north end so we have a great beach. I did';t realize you hadn't been here before or I would have told you about the shark's teeth which are in abundance. Hope to see you again. Hope you got to make use of the herb garden under the shower!!!

I'm sorry you had issues with the heat. We spoke several times and texted and emailed others and you never mentioned it. If you had i could have addressed it in seconds. They are smart thermostats, and I can control them remotely. You told me about it in a text after you left and I checked and saw that they had the a/c on instead of the heat (they are heat pumps). I waited until the cleaners got there and verified that before fixing it remotely. There are 2 zoned thermostats, one for the bedrooms and half the great room and the other for the upper floor and the rest of the greatroom. I send an email to everyone with instructions and a reminder that linens are not included but you didn't open it. Having said that I agree with you that the vrbo format is not clear on linens and that's why I remind first time renters. Please let the owner know immediately of any problem or inconvenience wherever you stay, most of us want you to enjoy it not to be inconvenienced. Your daughter was supposed to send $200 for the 2 dogs and did not but I let it go for your inconvenience.

I'm sorry you were unhappy with the house even though you weren't even here. I believe you chose not to come because of the reports of Covid in NC. The site states it's a duplex and I emailed your son on 9/8 that I would see him in 3 days. As to coming over my wife bakes most days and I would knock on the door and hand it to whomever answered. All they had to do was say it was an inconvenience. The house was NOT DIRTY. I did a walk through after the cleaners finished and while I could have missed something I would certainly have seen that. It was very dirty when your party left including a blender covered with food left on the kitchen counter, unemptied trash cans and dog hair everywhere. I had to replace one of the bedspreads also and I have to guess you knew that and that's why you are asking about your security deposit (VRBO keeps it , I never see it). I don't charge for thinks like but I do want to know so that it is not an issue for the next renter. The cleaner saw it when she made the bed and I had to replace i with a new one. I had already said I would not rent to you again based on how I felt you treated the house before I saw your review
