Great neighborhood with large park nearby. A variety of great food in walking distance. Easy access to bus or ferry to NYC

Awesome stay
Deborah and Chuck are amazing hosts and extremely helpful. We have an 18 months old and Deborah and Chuck went out of their way to child proof the apartment. The apartment is very nice, spacious and served all our needs. Phil, the building super is also very nice and helpful. All in all we had great three months while staying at Deborah’s place.

My husband and I work in the professional theatre and opera fields. He is an actor and I am a playwright/librettist. My husband works mostly on Broadway; he also does film and TV. He is one of the "Broadway legends" in Lin Manual Miranda's TICK...TICK...BOOM. My operas and plays are produced all over the world.

Because of the nature of our work, we spend travel extensively and spend a lot of time on the road in productions--hence, the availability of our apartment.
It's big and spacious (unusual for the NYC area where everyone lives in cubby holes). It's close to NYC. The park is fabulous--we spend every spare minute there when it's nice out. If you like to fish--the lake has bass, trout, catfish. The prices, and cost of living in NJ is one half of what it is in NYC. It's affordable, and comfortable, especially for those who work in the arts and non profit sectors
