Wasy check in with good communication from host. There was no coffeepot so we bought on and left it. Hopefully it will remain with the unit for when we return next.

Unit B16 was larger than expected and had everything we needed for our stay. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The location was convenient to all areas on Maui. Maalaea Bay Hono Kai Condo

Very comfortable basic condo with a fantastic sand beach sheltered from the trade winds and very little waves. Convenient to all locations on Maui. It is in the landing path for incoming jets, but there are not many flights into Maui.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lanai chairs old and uncomfortable. Kitchen was lacking in cooking and eating utensils (we even had to go buy a can opener). Dripping and squirting bathroom sink faucet needs to be replaced. No cooler provided. Adjacent parking lot is very noisy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a great vacation. But area is SUPER windy. We went to east and west sides of the island and it was much calmer. The condo was ok. It has almost everything you need but I think they could go a little farther in providing more convenient stays for guests. Like there was dish soap but no sponge or dish cloth. Bathroom has only hand soap, but not even small sized shampoo and conditioner. It would be very helpful specially when you arrive late at night. There was only two cooking pots, one really small and one really big. Coffee maker didn’t have any coffee filters that are also would be helpful. There was beach chairs , But I think Some of them was not cleaned for so long it has a wasp nest attached to it. The location of the condo is OK but you have to drive everywhere. There is almost nothing to do in close proximity. Otherwise, we liked the condo It has plenty of linen and towels. It was good for the price we paid.

The unit itself was somewhat disappointing as it had only a double size bed for sleeping and a substandard size refrigerator ,that was also too small, for example.

Love the accomidations

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really love how it came with a DVD player and some basic movies to enjoy. Well cleaned and friendly property onsite staff!
