Thanks much for staying with us at the Treehouse. We’re so happy to hear that you had a great time in St. Lucia and that our staff took really good care of you. Thanks also for letting us know that you really enjoyed Fabie’s cooking. Almost all of our Treehouse Villa guests staying in one of our two villas really enjoy our unique location near Anse Chastanet as it is not too far from town but it is even close enough for walking to two of the top beaches on the island. These beaches are certainly excellent for snorkeling right from the beach as you mentioned. We were surprised to hear that you didn’t enjoy the location. Perhaps you were expecting it to be different from how it is described in our listing. We believe we do explain our location accurately. Also the detailed information we sent you in advance of your stay presents the area and our neighborhood. For guests looking into a stay here, we are in a neighborhood that has other villas and guests do travel through the area using the Anse Chastanet Road to get to the resort a little over one mile from us. Typically vehicles travel the road during the day to get to the beach and resort and that would involve some road noise. Our manager, Damian, had mentioned at the end of your stay, that you commented that you were expecting our villa to be like another treehouse property you stayed at during a prior vacation (not in St. Lucia). Our understanding was that this treehouse was in a more remote location and you were expecting to have a similar experience with our treehouse villa. In our experience, accommodations such as villas in St. Lucia where one could be close enough to walk to or easily get to beaches, activities, restaurants, etc. but would be isolated without any road activity etc. aren't really available. Villas are typically just found in neighborhoods like ours where other villas are located and there would be some road noise and activity. We just wanted to point that out for guests wanting to enjoy St. Lucia.
