My family just returned from Villa Piton late last night. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our trip. We knew the view would be amazing from the pictures, but it was even more stunning in person. Mary and Gregory treated us like family whenever they came to upkeep the villa. We were told by the owner Kermit, that Mary's cooking was amazing and that we should try it at least one night so we chose to have her cook the day we arrived since we had a long travel day. The food was so good, we had her cook again the night before we left! We ate at Hotel Chocolat, Ladera, The Mango Tree and Bamboo Restaurant and Mary's cooking was still some of our favorite meals. Blossom checked in with us at the beginning and end of out stay to make sure everything was perfect. They are all the sweetest people. We spent a good part of every day at Villa Piton but highly recommend doing the Tree to Bar experience at Hotel Chocolat and Castaway Tours with Paul and his sister for a history on Carib culture, a cooking lesson and food cooked on the beach in clay pots. Tet Paul Nature Trail was fun, but honestly, the views at the villa were just as good! We chose Soufriere rather than Castries to be in a more quiet area and don't regret it one bit! The road to Villa Piton is VERY narrow and winding, so if you are nervous about the driving, you may want to have Ben's Taxi take you out. We got used to it at the end, but it was quite the experience to say the least!
We were sad to say goodbye to Villa Piton. It was truly paradise!
