Comfy beds and Clean. Needs some updating. It would be nice to have extra sheets for pull out couch. Also patio furniture was 2 old dirty chairs. Not what was pictured! It was a great price and great location!

The property was in a great location and was very clean but there was some issues. The microwave handle was broken which was no big deal but my twin boys couldn't shower in their upstairs shower because the handle to the shower broke off. I called and reported this to maintenance but the plumber had to order the part so my twins couldn't use their shower the entire stay, they had to use mine. The back patio door was jammed so a repair man came out and fixed it. The bottom toilet bowl wouldn't fill up with water which I also reported but I was so frustrated by that time I didn't want anyone going in and out anymore for repairs. My Family and I were on vacation and we shouldn't be dealing with anything breaking or repair people coming in and out, I understand issues happen but we will not be staying at this location again.

I've vacationed in Sandestin my entire life, was married here, and my parents now live here. We usually stay with them, but this trip I brought my two boys plus a friend for each, so I rented this condo for two weeks.First, RealJoy deserves 5 stars. I've rented in Sandestin before, and they are hands-down the best property management company I've worked with. Their communication was outstanding. When a kitchen drawer broke, they responded immediately and had it fixed the next morning. When the HOA changed the pool code, they stayed on top of it and kept renters updated. Someone was always available and responded quickly.The condo gets 4 stars. The location is unbeatable! We walked to the Magnolia pool, fished the nearby lakes, and walked to Baytowne and the Marina. The layout was perfect with the master downstairs and kids upstairs, each bedroom having its own bathroom. The A/C was amazing and kept the condo wonderfully cool, even during the hottest days. The screened patio was perfect for storing fishing gear, and the spacious living area easily accommodated four active boys.The only negatives were the kitchen and the doors. We cooked for two weeks, and the cookware, utensils, and knives were very limited, so we ended up borrowing items from family nearby. Also, the beautiful wood front and patio doors were extremely difficult to open due to humidity. Other than a little dated décor, those were really our only complaints.Overall, we'd absolutely stay here again!

Great location

Location was great. And the extra amenities you get were great for the kids. Furniture needs updated for sure and you definitely need to bring everything food wise for a kitchen including salt and pepper. I also recommend bring extra trash bag, toilet paper, and dish pods.

Updates

Downstairs furniture and small appliances need to be updated. Broken blinds in common area need to be replaced. Matching place settings needed to accommodate a minimum of 8 people. Nicer and additional bedding needed to sleeper sofa.

Residence is outdated and needs upgrades

When we got there to check in the AC was being worked on. They did fix it. However the Furniture was old and stained. The refrigerator never got cold at all. The microwave light was out. There was no dish soap to wash dishes. Back screen door had big hole in it. Overall just needs a lot of updates.

Great Location in Baytowne Wharf!

Overall, we had a great stay at this property! Pros: Location in Baytowne Wharf (walking distance to most amenities), proximity to restaurants, shopping, and beaches. Fireworks show was pretty much in the backyard which was nice. Size of the unit being 4 baths, 3 bedrooms Cons: The pool was not heated during our stay (even though it should’ve been within the temperature ranges for at least two of the days). The tub when filled in the Master bedroom was full of sand. Our kids found numerous items (earrings, candy, etc) under their beds upstairs. Other suggestions I would make to management/property owners are the same as previous reviews with regards to blinds being broken and updated furniture. There really needs to be more seating in the living area to accommodate more than 4 people. I do want to mention this (not the fault of the owners/property management) but the unit next to us had a guest and they parked blocking our space and we had to park in the overflow until we could ask them to move their vehicle.

I apologize for the few inconveniences during your stay. The HOA decides whether or not to heat the pool and I agree - it was very chilly during your stay so a heated pool would've been wonderful! As for the furnishings, it is the homeowners preference for the seating but I will definitely pass along the suggestion! The new blinds have been ordered but unfortunately, they have been back ordered. Again, thank you for the review! I hope you and your family had safe travels home. House keeping was questionable. Dirty spots on carpet, so much mold on windows hard to see out. Dusty. Paper from paper plates was stuck to dining table. Furniture broken down and outdated. Overall a nice home and location but needs items fixed such as broken blinds and jacuzzi tub. I felt paying for housekeeping should have been refunded since I had to go over things once I got there. tv on the wall in guest room was the size of a small computer monitor. Could use some decorating updates such as new bedding and furniture. Bring your own pillows!

We had a wonderful stay at My Magnolia in Sandestin! The home was very clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. The location was excellent — close to Baytowne Wharf, restaurants, shops, and the pool area. Everything was well maintained and made for a relaxing vacation.We did have an A/C issue during our stay, but the management company responded quickly and professionally. They came out the same day and provided a great portable A/C unit that kept the house comfortable while the issue was being addressed. We really appreciated how fast they handled everything and their excellent communication throughout the process.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Nice Home

One of the newer homes in Sandestin. Walking distance from Baytowne Wharf and a very short drive to Grand Boulevard/Publix. Home was very nice and we enjoyed the outdoor screened-in patio. Nice view of the golf course.

Outstanding Golf Villa -- Perfect Location -- Beautiful Area -- Very Safe

I cannot express how much we enjoyed staying at Magnolia Bay. It not only met our expectations, but exceeded them in many ways! The house was beautiful. Perfect location (walking distance to Baytowne Wharf) (very close to Boulevard Shops and Restaurants) (very close to the Beach). The grounds and area golf courses were absolutely beautiful. We walked to/from Baytowne Wharf without any problems -- always felt safe (even late at night). Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful property with others. We will definitely return!!!

Almost Perfect

The house was very nice and you didn’t feel like you were in a strangers house. Very nicely decorated. The patio furniture could use an upgrade as well as repairs to the screens that are torn. The only disappointment was waking the last day, early riser, and they had already taken away your internet access. For as much as you pay you should be able to have that until you walk out the door.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed this property! It was me, my husband, our 18 month old twins, six year old and my mother staying at the property and it fit us perfectly. The rooms were huge so plenty of room for suitcases, pack n plays and toys. There was even a baby gate which was great because we didn’t think to bring one for the stairs. I would agree with the previous review that the furniture is a little worn but it didn’t deter us from relaxing. I also read the reviews about the uncomfortable beds but I think the owners added a mattress topper because we didn’t find the beds uncomfortable at all. I think the only thing really missing was a grill. The location was perfect to walk to Baytown Wharf and it was a very quick drive to the main pool and beach. We found the back road to the mall, restaurants, Publix, Tom Thumb and Starbucks and that made life even easier. We didn’t realize there were fireworks on Tuesday night so we had two upset kiddos, oops, but that wasn’t a huge deal. We had one noise issue with some other guests playing loud music but security took care of it very quickly and there were no other issues. We also had to run to the store for trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels so be sure to bring those items with you. Overall, we had a great stay and will likely stay here again next year!

Beautiful location, okay property

This property is located in a beautiful location and neighborhood. Great spot for golf, walking, steps away from the pool. The inside was really not very clean in general with outdated or worn furniture and various things were just not in great shape. We enjoyed our time and appreciated the number of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Great location but...

Cute condo and great location. Master bed downstairs is very uncomfortable. Queen master upstairs not much better. Den area needs some updating. Would have been 5 stars but for these issues

Overall our stay was great. The beds could be more comfortable and wished it was stocked with more basic stuff but we had a great time.

Wonderful Stay

Everything was great here, the accommodations were just as described and my clients really enjoyed staying here. Would definitely recommend.
