This house is decorated very well, in a great location, and was very clean and comfortable. Overall, I must give it a very good review, as we enjoyed the facility. However, there were several things that concerned us. There were 6 in our group and the home was advertised and had beds for 10. That said, there were only 5 glasses, very minimal pans for cooking, and no trays for the oven (to keep our Texas toast from dripping in the oven, we ran out to buy foil). Both the kitchen sink and the tub would get hot water for a minute or so, and then change to freezing cold water (??) My husband was afraid to shower out of fear the same would happen in the shower. When we came, the long steps up to the unit were covered in ice and snow - we spent some time trying to chip it off (thank you for the shovel), as the railing only went halfway down and we had several seniors with us that were afraid of slipping. We had to park way down the street and the streets and sidewalks were treacherous. It did appear as though there might have been parking in the back for guests, but this was not mentioned to us, and the walk to the house had about a foot of snow on it. The first night there, beeping alerted us to a fire alarm that had a dead battery - the unit itself was very out of date. At that point we went looking for a carbon monoxide alarm and did not find one. These are all things that can be fixed I'm sure. We would definitely stay here again.
