If you don't mind driving a few miles on a gravel road, it is a county-maintained road but usage can cause some wash-boarding, you'll be greatly rewarded by the surroundings. It's a common occurrence to see elk, deer, pronghorn antelope, bison, bighorn sheep, and more along the drive. Please, when on the gravel road, just keep your speed down to 25 mph or less and as low as 20 mph at night.
There can be dangerous animals on property - Grizzly and black bears, wolves, mountain lions, elk, bison, deer, rattlesnakes, etc. Please maintain clean patio/property at all times. And remember never to approach the wild animals. Keep a safe distance.
Be safe, carry bear spray when hiking/biking.
Mahalo and ENJOY!
