Graduation

Chris stayed in touch the whole trip even on way there. It was very convenient for me travel to great lakes naval academy. Very clean just like pic even the neighbors was nice

Plan to stay again! We really enjoyed our stay!!

This is my first stay with Vrbo to visit family for the holidays. I will look to book with Chris the next time I’m in town. He’s very responsive and provides you with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Plus a bottle of wine and a Kringle!! Highly recommend!!!

Perfect! Exactly what I needed and so close to beach!

The personalized welcome sign, a bottle of wine and a giant kringle from O&H, Chris really goes out of his way to make his guests feel welcome and right at home! Perfect for a one week stay by the lake with everything included. Well stocked kitchen, comfy bed with ice cold AC, giant TV with Netflix, laundry in the basement. This place over delivered in every way. Thank you Chris! 5 Stars!

Beautiful place and location!

We absolutely loved staying here. My little said “this was the best place we’ve stayed this summer!” The location was great as it was close to everything. We drove to the beach every day. We visited friends in the area. Restaurants and groceries were all very close. We made it a favorite and hope to come back to this area again!

Cozy!

Perfect for a week by Lake Michigan. Just the right size for one or two people. Kitchen was well stocked, bed was comfortable, shower was nice and roomy. 5 minute drive from the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Lakes Graduation Trip

Perfect place for the quick trip that is a Navy boot camp graduation. Very clean property, super easy check in, snacks and drinks waiting for us, easy to get to and from the Navy base and Kenosha is pretty great town with tons of tasty food and drink options. If we ever come back this way from Baltimore, we’d stay here again for sure.

A few of the photos are not from this property and some of the listed amenities were absent!!

The bed was super comfy & the shower was amazing! Nice shampoo, conditioner & bath gel provided. There was a greeting board & a bottle of white wine waiting for us, as well as the promised Danish pastry, which was nice. There WAS a washer/dryer in the shared basement. The entry had a code which was simple to use (but two flights of stairs might make entry difficult for the elderly). Christopher got back with us promptly and communication was good. There were a few things which were pictured but were NOT in the apt.: there were no luggage racks, there was no fire extinguisher, no pack & play, no first aid kit, no lamp with outlets in the bedroom. The pictures of the coffee area, the back yard with grill, the lamp at bedside are NOT from this property, but the host has other properties on VRBO so maybe he is just using similar photos from house to house? (There is no nightstand in the bedroom either.) There are also just a couple of issues we feel like we should point out for any future travelers to consider. The apt. has ONE window air conditioning unit & it is in the tv/living room area, the center room of the apt. In order to cool the bedroom and kitchen (partially), it must be left on HIGH round the clock. It makes it very COLD to watch TV in that center room, but if turned off, the bedroom was too warm for sleeping, at least for us. If there was a need for a 2nd bed/sleeping area & the futon in the TV room needed to be used, then the bedroom door would likely be closed (for privacy) which would make the center room cold for whoever slept there & warm for the bedroom (back room). The kitchen (front room) never fully cooled down for us. Maybe a fan for air flow? Fortunately, we just had the 2 of us in one bed & we were able to keep the doorway open. We bought a cheap blanket at Walmart for warmth while watching TV. We had a bit of trouble w/an onion smell from the garbage disposal & a sponge, but a container of baking soda & tossing the sponge took care of it just fine. Last issue we had was a lack of food-prep area. We like to cook our evening meals "in" & the one counter in the kitchen had a can of coffee, coffee maker, large jar of sugar, cups, creamer & spices on it which only left room enough for our phones & chargers (since there weren't lamps with outlets in them elsewhere). If Christopher changes out a few pics, adds some of the missing amenities & installs another small AC unit, we could wholeheartedly recommend this rental!

I have been married to my wife Alane for over 35 years. We have 3 boys. My two oldest sons married Brazilian girls, Gilly and Juliana.

Arthur and Juliana live in the Baltimore area with our new little granddaughter Victoria. She's so cute. Arthur is a computer programmer and Juliana is an employment specialist.

Alex and Giselle are in San Jose, CA. Giselle is the first doctor in the family and teaches at the University of San Jose. Alex is our sales manager at our company in Phoenix.

Our youngest Christopher (the Foof) is disabled and is the coolest kid. He's 29 years old. Our family travels to a great many places. Foof goes with us to the Grand Cayman's several times a year and other places like Aruba, Hawaii, Indy car races, concerts, and more. He loves to visit with his brothers and hang out.

I travel to China several times a year for business and pleasure. I feel with all the travelling we do, we know what travelers want and like. So we have gone the extra mile to make our properties fun and unique. We print custom artwork you see in our homes at my company in Phoenix. We have top notch beds, pillows, and bedding for "the ultimate sleep experience." Gym equipment, fun activities like Foosball tables, putting greens, and more.

We would like your experience to be memorable because, in the end, you only have your great memories of your adventures. We want to be part of that.
