Weekend visit to see family

We were in Claude to visit family. Our 2nd time to stay at The Lofts in Room C. It is perfect and we have everything we need there. It is nice to spend the day with family then have our own spot at night! Our 17 year old daughter was with us this time and liked having her own spot in the main area. One thing that would have been beneficial is window coverings in living/kitchen area just to cut down on 18 wheelers lights and traffic noise….and early morning sunrise. Thankful for noise machine in bedroom!!

Quaint Claude (completely worth it)

Great place to stay, the noise from the 18-wheelers passing by is legit, along with the train. But!...if you miss this place because of noise you're missing out. Bring some ear plugs and there is a noise machine to help and you will be fine. Keith was a pleasure to deal with and always prompt. Kitchen was nice and the entire loft is spacious feeling. We used the washer and dryer and they worked fine. The dryer is on the the slower side. All the little things were in order: nice sheets, good towels, soaps for Kitchen and Bathroom, adequate utensils, dishes, cookware. etc. *If your light sensitive bring a sleep mask as there are a few windows that have no covering.

Hidden gem

This property was PERFECT! It is clean and modern. It would be perfect for those traveling through town. I realized I left an item of value and the owner promptly responded to my message and agreed to mail it to me. I fully expect to receive it any day!!! He was great to work with! And even answered all my pre-stay questions promptly! I highly recommend this property and will be staying here again!!

Great stopover, Perfect location

We were on a return road trip from Arizona to Fort Worth and this was the perfect place for a quick stop and rest. It is literally right off of hwy287 which made so easy to get in and get out quickly after a long drive and with a long drive ahead of us. The property was easy to access and the no contact check in was simple and convenient. The studio loft was clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed for a quick meal and the living area was comfy for a quick rest. There was plenty of room throughout for belongings, the bathroom was large and had everything needed, and the bedroom had an extremely comfortable bed and plenty of closet space. This is a great place that provides a comfortable environment and easy access to the highway for a quick road trip stop over.

2nd Story Downtown Loft - Pretty but Extreme Road and Train Noise

The property was clean and modern. But the road and train noise was unbearable! It would be OK if the windows facing the main thoroughfare were sound-proofed; but every few minutes in the evening and every couple of hours during the middle of the night the constant flow of18-wheelers whizzing by and the trains rumbling by with whistles blowing full tilt made this a nightmare to rest.

Last stop before Colorado

If your going to Colorado, do yourself a favor and stay here instead of in Abilene or Amarillo. Its by far the nicest place in the area. I guarantee.
