Fourth time and still happy

I left very detailed reviews following our stays in 2019 and 2022, so this will be short. This was our fourth stay in Florence’s apartment. The apartment and the Crystal Beach Residence remain a wonderful place to spend time in the sun. Clean, quiet, well equipped, on the beach, two swimming pools, and walking distance to grocery stores (we spent five and a half weeks without a car this year), with a bakery, three restaurants and a convenience store just outside the complex gate. We were happy, and plan to return.

Very Happy - We Recommend

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was in excellent condition, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. The condo property is gated for safety, and the grounds are well maintained. The children's swimming pool was perfect for when our three-year old granddaughter came to visit. While the adult pool was a bit small, it served the purpose. Almost everything you need to prepare your own meals is available within a twenty minute walk, and the onsite convenience store is well stocked. Parking for the condo was right in front of the door. One maintenance issue arose while we were there that the property manager quickly fixed even though it meant bringing in a worker on the weekend. Our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter joined us for a week, and there was enough room for all of us to be comfortable. Aside from a couple of mosquitoes one night, insects were not a problem when we stayed in March. The complex was quiet at night - perfect for us, and perfect for anyone with children. The only negative was that the WIFI was slow. We spent three weeks here and wish we had booked for longer. We would definitely stay here again.

Still happy

This was our fifth time in Florence's apartment, and we have already booked our sixth stay for next winter. Here are some of the things we like: - Location: We spent five and a half weeks without a car - everything we need is within a half hour walk - groceries, butcher, vegetable stores, restaurants, pharmacy, other shopping. Incredible bakery, a well-stocked convenience store and three restaurants are just outside the door. If we needed a car there are several rental businesses in Saint Francois, if we were interested in water sports these are available near the marina. - Large 600 litre cistern for a backup water supply - essential as many communities experience rotating water outages. We never ran out of water. - Parking is just outside the apartment door, meaning less distance to carry your luggage. - The apartment is clean, the residence grounds are clean and beautifully maintained. - Functional full kitchen - Apartment is at ground level, meaning no stairs - The residence is gated – you need a code or a FOB to enter. We have always felt safe here. - The residence is quiet, making it easy to relax. - Fast internet as the owner has her own service rather than use the residence service. - Owner is responsive, and the local property manager has always been fast to come when there was a problem. We are very happy with this apartment, with the residence, and with Saint Francois as a place to escape winter.

Third time here

We spent five weeks in Florence’s apartment from mid-February to late March, our third stay here. We plan to return. It remains ideal for us – clean, first floor, parking spot right outside the door, a relaxing view as the apartment faces a large open green space with a pool, and next to a beach. The complex is quiet – this is not a party destination. The main sound you hear at night are the ocean waves. During the winter season, there is a constant ocean breeze that keeps you cool and chases away flying insects. With the front windows and the patio door open we did not need air conditioning, and only turned it on in the bedroom when we went to bed. (Summer and fall might be a different story.) Not sure if it belongs to this apartment or to another, but there is a bird feeder hanging from a tree in front of the patio. We put seeds in it to watch the birds. Our dealings with the property manager were good. The owner has installed a large 600 litre cistern to provide a backup water supply. This is vital in many parts of Grand Terre including St Francois as there will be rotating water outages until the aging distribution network is fixed. We like to walk, and most of the time we did not need a car – there is a convenience store, bakery and three restaurants just outside the gate, food trucks a ten minute walk away beside the beach with take-away food, and a small grocery store (Coliprix) about 15 minutes away. There is an excellent butcher shop across the street from the church about a twenty minute walk from the apartment. We also bought several home-made take-away meals from the ladies who set up on Saturday and Sunday mornings just outside the nearby gymnasium. The apartment and the location work for us. We will be back.

Il est important d'avoir un accès téléphonique pour communiquer avec l'hôtesse qui sera présente à votre arrivé. L'emplacement est totalement sécurisé avec une puce d'accès et un portail pour accéder à la plage. Un endroit simple et conviviale ! amusez-vous bien :D

Super séjour

Très bon séjour à Crystal Beach !

Appartement très propre et fonctionnel. Accès aux piscines et commerces très pratiques à proximité de la résidence. C'est juste dommage que la plage des raisins clairs n'est pas nettoyée. Il y a pas mal de sargasses. Appartement bien équipé conforme à l'annonce.

Très agréable location qui donne sur un joli parc avec une petite vue mer ; l’ appartement est confortable,on s’y sent bien .Aucun problème d’eau grâce à une grande citerne ( pb récurant en Guadeloupe)Enfin tout était parfait et on était très content .Par ailleurs Florence ,la propriétaire est très sympathique

Location tres propre dans une residence Securisee. La boulangerie a lentree est excellente et lepicerie est tres appreciee. Lit bebe disponible. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir!

L'appartement est très bien, il est propre bien entretenu et est super fonctionnel. Mes enfants étaient heureux comme tout et les piscines surtout le bassin pour enfants en face de l'appartement sont parfaites mise à part le fait que je préfère la température de l'océan à celle de la piscine. La résidence est super ainsi que la boulangerie qui se trouve à la sortie. Le seul point négatif et qui n'est en aucun cas la faute de la propriétaire est qu'il y avait des locataires dans l'appartement qui se situe au 2ème étage donc 1 étage qui nous séparait et ils étaient énormément bruyants dès fois jusqu'à 2h00 du matin. Chaise qui traînaient sur leur terrasse enfants qui criaient et qui couraient, on entendait tout. Et de plus ils jetaient des déchets par dessus leur terrasse que l'on retrouvaient le matin au réveil. A part ce point la tout etait parfait

Appartement situé dans une résidence calme, bien entretenue et très bien arborée. La résidence est située en bord d’en mer, très belle plage, mais présence d’algues actuellement (d’autres très belles plages non touchée se trouvent à proximité). Une excellente boulangerie se trouve à l'entrée de la résidence. L’appartement est spacieux, très bien agencé, très bien équipé et entretenu. Lit parapluie avec moustiquaire fourni pour notre bébé, ainsi qu’un rehausseur de chaise. La Terrasse-loggia de l’appartement est très agréable, avec vue sur la piscine dédiée aux enfants (mais à bonne distance pour n’avoir aucune nuisance sonore). Nous avons été très bien accueilli sur place. Rien à redire, nois recommandons ce logement et y reviendrons avec beaucoup de plaisir !

Très belles vacance à St-Francois

L’appartement était conforme à la description. Il est bien équipé et propre. Nous avions même une petite glacière mise a être disposition pour nos excursions autour de l’ile. Environnement calme. Au Rez de chaussée, c’est idéal avec les enfants qui peuvent jouer autour. La piscine pour enfants juste en face est bien entretenue. La seconde piscine plus grande également. L’acces au site et à la plage se fait par des petits portillons sécurisés. Boulangerie située à deux pas tout à fait géniale! Les échanges avec la propriétaire ont été faciles. Accueil professionnel et sympathique par Chrystelle sur place. Bref, nous recommandons cette location sans aucune hésitation! Petites suggestions: pour une famille au moins 2 jetons magnétiques devraient etre mis à notre disposition pour nous permettre de circuler plus facilement entre la plages et le site. Également, ce serait une bonne idée d’equiper l’appartement d’au moins deux chaises transat plus confortables pour profiter de l’air marin et faire la lecture sur la véranda. Merci et à bientôt !

Nous avons passé 10 jours sur une île paradisiaque. Appartement était fonctionnel, propre, sécurisé avec une place de parking juste devant. Très bien placé, proche du bourg et de la plage. À refaire avec grand plaisir
