First, there is that great terrace with the breath-taking view. And it’s all yours, because there are no direct neighbours, at least not when we were there. You are at the top of the building with a panoramic view over Cap Ferrat. Normally when we go to the Cap we usually go to a beach. This time, we never went. There was no need. So, it was days on the terrace: breakfast on the terrace, lunch on the terrace, dinner on the terrace, and drinks on the terrace. In between, we lounged on the terrace. At night, a great panorama of the little port, the lights of the yachts, and the speckled illuminations of the three Corniches are like a string of pearls in the darkness. The apartment itself all in white is full of light and is perfect for two people. The minstrel gallery bedroom is an unusual feature and although the ceiling is a little low for the tall (which we are), it was not sufficiently distracting to put us off. We would have preferred a firmer mattress. A good point are the parking arrangements. The basement garage is spacious and very secure. A bonus. All in all despite the low ceiling of the minstrel gallery – we’ll book Fabrizio’s & Laurie’s flat again. We should also mention that Svetlana, who looked after us on their behalf, is excellent and charming.
