The Mountain Retreat is completely yours during your stay, so you’ll have plenty of privacy—but you’re never on your own when it comes to planning your Southern Utah adventure! We’re just a call or message away if you need anything.

Daybreak Mountain Retreat is tucked into a beautiful mountain-home community where peaceful surroundings and Southern Utah adventure come together. Well-maintained gravel roads are perfect for morning walks and evening strolls, with opportunities for hiking, birdwatching and spotting local wildlife—including deer and wild turkeys—right near the property.

You’ll be ideally situated for exploring some of Southern Utah’s most spectacular destinations, including Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park and Cedar Breaks National Monument. Even closer to home, local guides offer unforgettable slot canyon, rappelling and off-road adventures practically in our backyard.

Orderville also has some wonderful local flavor. Within about three miles you’ll find restaurants, casual eateries, coffee shops, a grocery store and other essentials.

It’s an ideal setting for families and groups who want to experience Southern Utah together—close to iconic destinations, but with the space, quiet and slower pace of a mountain community to come home to.

Daybreak Mountain Retreat is a fully equipped, private home, and during your stay the house and its dedicated amenities are yours to enjoy, including private parking and outdoor gathering spaces.

Daybreak Studio is located nearby above the detached garage and may be occupied by other guests during your stay. The Mountain Retreat and Studio are completely separate rentals with their own entrances and dedicated spaces. Both have been thoughtfully situated to maintain privacy, and our guests consistently enjoy the peaceful, private feel of Daybreak even when both properties are occupied.

Please note that the detached garage is not included with either rental and is not accessible to guests.

Traveling with a larger group? Daybreak Studio sleeps up to 6 additional guests and may be rented along with the Mountain Retreat when available. Reserving both is a wonderful option for extended families, reunions and groups who want to stay close while still having a little extra space and privacy.

Daybreak Mountain Retreat is a spacious, thoughtfully furnished mountain home created for families and groups to gather, relax and experience Southern Utah together. With room for up to 16 guests, there’s plenty of space to spread out—and plenty of inviting spaces that naturally bring everyone back together.

Large windows fill the home with natural light and frame the incredible surrounding mountain scenery. Comfortable living and dining areas make it easy to share meals, play games, visit and plan the next day’s adventure.

The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with full-size appliances, cookware, dishes and everyday essentials, making everything from a quick breakfast to a big family dinner easy. An extra-large Traeger grill gives you even more options for cooking and gathering outdoors.

One of our favorite additions is the new private hot tub—the perfect place to unwind after hiking Zion, exploring a slot canyon or spending the day adventuring. Outside you’ll also find plenty of seating, a new fire pit and long, scenic porches that wrap the home, giving your group room to eat, visit, relax and enjoy those beautiful Southern Utah evenings under the stars.

For longer stays, the home includes laundry facilities with detergent and supplies provided. Quality linens, towels and essential guest supplies are also included.

Bringing all the toys? There’s generous private parking for your entire group, including room for trailers and off-road vehicles, making Daybreak especially convenient for guests coming to explore Southern Utah’s backcountry. We also provide a complimentary EV charger for guest use.

Daybreak Mountain Retreat was created to be more than a place to sleep. It’s a place to soak after an adventure, gather around the fire, linger on the porch, share meals and make memories with the people you came to Southern Utah to experience it with.

Daybreak Mountain Retreat is located in a peaceful rural mountain community, so having your own vehicle is the best way to explore the area. Orderville does not currently offer Uber or traditional car-rental services, but you’ll find the community friendly, welcoming and easy to navigate.

Although the setting feels wonderfully tucked away, everyday conveniences are close by. Within about 2 miles you’ll find a grocery and hardware store, gas station, post office, cafés and local eateries. A 9-hole golf course is approximately 4 miles south, and Zion National Park’s East Entrance is about a 15-minute drive away.

There is plenty of private parking at the Retreat for larger groups, including space for trailers and off-road vehicles, plus a complimentary EV charger for guest use.

One of the advantages of staying in Orderville is having room to slow down while still being well positioned for exploring Zion, Bryce Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, local slot canyons and the many scenic backroads and trails that make this corner of Southern Utah so special.

After booking, we’ll share our personal recommendations for favorite restaurants, local attractions and can’t-miss experiences. Guests will also receive our discount codes for select local tour companies—perfect for experiencing slot canyons, off-road adventures and more with some of our favorite local guides.

Daybreak Studio, a completely separate and private rental located above the detached garage next door, may be occupied during your stay. Each property has its own entrance and dedicated outdoor spaces, allowing guests of both rentals to enjoy their privacy.

Traveling with an even larger group? When available, Daybreak Studio can be reserved along with the Mountain Retreat and sleeps up to 6 additional guests.
